Alpinestars Supertech R10 - Arius Gloss Black / Silver / Fluo Yellow This helmet is absolutely worth that extra bit of your pocket money. It’s a joy to have on your head. No speed buffering and compared to my last helmet is surprisingly quieter! Even although it’s classed as a race helmet.
Field of vision is better too, and the fact you can adjust the inside to suit your riding position just adds to that. Honestly in my opinion it’s worth every penny. Trust me…. You NEED this helmet!
Alpinestars Supertech R10 - Arius Gloss Black / White / Double Red After much deliberation and support from staff. I chose this High tech helmet as I found it to hold caring edge technology making high performance riding move to another level, with ultimate safety built in.
Alpinestars Supertech R10 - Arius Gloss Black / White / Blue A very comfortable helmet, lightweight and great field of view. This helmet looks and feels amazing. My Cardo was easily fitted and works perfectly. Very impressed with the quick delivery and everything the helmet comes with.
Alpinestars Supertech R10 - Team Black Carbon / Red Fluo / Matt Blue I have used Alpine Stars products since 1973. The reasons are many, starting with durability, consistent improvement and overall safety.
Alpinestars Supertech R10 - Solid Gloss Carbon / Matt Black Really like this helmet. Fits perfectly on my head without and movement. It looks incredible, feels really comfy and is light weight. The carbon goes with any bike also. Air vents provide superb air flow and keeps your head nice and cool. You get a great field of view with the visor also.
It is tight to get it on and off when new but it gives. I have fitted my cardo and its great.
Alpinestars Supertech R10 - Team Gloss Black Carbon / Red / White The SR10 is incredibly lightweight and comfortable, its like a pillow wrapped around your head with weirdly selective noise protection, cuts out ALOT of wind noise but almost amplifies the sound of your bike which is fantastic. The 2 visors that come with it (clear and smoke) are easy to switch out. The smoke is great and looks darker than it is so if you do get caught out with the light gets dim then its still workable. The many vents are great too, you wont need them all open at once unless you're riding through the Sahara desert. Be careful not to lose the big vent cover as its detachable and cant seem to find any spares yet if it was to disappear, great looking and functioning helmet, wont need to buy another for a long time (touch wood).
Alpinestars Supertech R10 - Arius Gloss Black / Silver / Fluo Yellow Always used shoei helmets in the past and I’m a medium, the last shoei I had was the NSXR 2 which I had to change the cheek pads in and I still always found it a little tight. Went to the store in Birmingham and the staff were really helpful. Tried a large first (as the reviews all say they are super tight) and it was a little loose. The medium was like a glove with just enough grip around the cheeks with no pressure points anywhere.I only ride for 2-3 hours on a Saturday and Sunday and haven’t once found it getting uncomfortable.I wouldn’t say it is much noisier than the shoei but I do wear ear plugs. Wouldn’t say the build quality is any different to the shoei. All round I would say it’s up there with the best helmet I’ve had and it does look mega cool.
