Waterproof inner is fixed and restricts space.

Fits the bmw carrier ok but straps can slide open and also make it difficult to make firm fitting to carrier. Might change to velcro straps for better more secure fixing. Holds what I want for a day ride eg flask and a snack.

Good bag but liner takes a lot of space

Well made and handy that it can easy be taken off the bike but the waterproof liner does take quite a bit of room and can't be removed.

Expandable and good looking tailbag
01 Jun 2026 by Den
I needed something just big enough for a few tools and wet weather gear on rides that didn't need a top box and panniers. This is a superb choice. It is expandable and looks good on the bike. Inside is a dry bag, the sort that folds over and completely waterproofs its contents. Fantastic! The problem for me is, the dry bag is sewn in to the outer and takes up a lot of valuable space. As I intend to stow tools and waterproofs, I would forgo the dry bag for a bit more space. It does incorporate elastic toggles in each corner to hold the dry bag wide open, which is OK ... but, when I am sure of my needs I may well cut the inner dry bag out (hopefully with no regrets).
There is also a larger sized similar bag from HELD available from SBS.

Questions and Answers
How is this be easily taken on & off the bike whilst out on the road, can this be easily done?
February 3, 2026The securing straps can be left under the seat, which leaves 4 visible clips / buckles. You just release these to remove the bag from them, and re-clip them to secure.
