Advice & Guides You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
Great style. Good price.
Great service. Fantastic quick delivery.
I bought this helmet for its styling and also it matches my leathers perfectly. I liked the fact it came with the tinted visor included too.
But that’s where the good points end sadly.
The wind noise from this helmet is deafening, after a few hours riding my head was pounding and ears ringing. Then let’s talk about the restrictions of movement, which is a biggie! The chin of this lid restricts how far you can turn your head making shoulder checks difficult. When you do turn your head at speed the spoiler gets caught in the wind which makes for a pretty good neck workout - if you’re into that kinda thing!! It does however have a wide visor making peripheral vision good.
Inside this helmet is cheaply crafted, the moulded sections dig into your head at the back and the forehead area is just solid with little to no padding only a cover of material which again makes this uncomfortable on long rides.
There are no cut out bits to fit your comms so be prepared to be fiddling around a bit until you can hear your comms and not having them digging into you.
Overall, not great. Looks good for pictures and ok for short, slower paced rides.
Perfect match for my new rev’it one piece, comfy and compact!
it’s a good helpmate don’t get me wrong love the look of it and how light wight is is when carrying around when out but it feels cheap from when you open the front vent ( poped out completely be careful) and open/ close the visor it just feels cheap but still a good helmet
It's an ECE 22.06 helmet but you already knew that, so what makes this one special?
It has an aggressive sports style and the spoiler is incredibly large, if it's what you like in a lid then it's great fun.
The view out of the front is nice and wide if a little short, but unless you're wearing a large rucksack and getting into a full tuck it's never a problem.
The included visor is a fun addition and on a clear day it's a nice tint to let your eyes relax a little (only on a track of course ;p )
The drop down sun visor is incredibly useful for those who don't want to use the track visor on the road, it's tint is dark enough to make a bright day incredibly comfortable.
My only gripes with this lid are that it's very noisy so I'd recommend getting a good set of earplugs at the same time and the chin vent closes very easily if you mount something like a GoPro top the chin.
it s a very comfy helmet looks fire too comes in the box with one clear and one mirrored visor pretty easy to swap out aswell it s very light for a non carbon helmet and feels very premium for its price
Bought from Leeds SBS specifically for Track use. Awesome lid! Relatively lightweight, good ventilation, great visibility and good aerodynamics. Excellent advice from the team at SBS on fit and sizing. Great value at £170. Top buy.
