All helmets are supplied with a clear visor as standard
The Tanami is Caberg's full-face on-and-off road helmet, available in two shell sizes made of fibre glass, with an optimised ventilation and the Caberg SOS Medical ID system. The Tanami can be used either with or without the peak as a standard full-face helmet.
The ventilation system is very easy to use thanks to the cover vents both on the rear extractors and on the chin, which are fixed with magnets that can simply be removed for enhanced ventilation during off-road trips and during the hottest months. Furthermore, it's possible to wear a motocross mask either with the helmet visor raised or with the visor simply removed. Ideal during off-road adventures and hottest day, the Tanami also offers the option to mount a hydration tube inside the chin guard.
Featuring a transparent anti-scratch outer visor and an anti-fog adjustable Pinlock Max Vision 70 lens included in the box, the Tanami is equipped with a visor central locking system and opening button to avoid the visor sudden opening during a ride, whilst allowing a minimum opening at low speeds to avoid or eliminate fogging. Moreover, the Tanami features DVT (Double Visor Tech) via an integrated anti-scratch sunshade visor, operated by a lever on the left side.
The air circulation is ensured by an adjustable air vent on the chin guard with a removable cover to manage the air flow; a big air vent on the top of the helmet with two adjustable openings and two rear air extractors with removable covers to favour the discharge of hot and stale air. The inner lining, made with the best hypoallergenic and transpiring fabrics to guarantee maximum freshness, is entirely removable and washable.
Further features include cheek pads that have been ergonomically shaped to permit the accommodation of glasses, a chin strap fastening system that is equipped with an aluminium double D-ring, and for the Tanami model, Caberg has developed an electronic device, the Caberg SOS Medical ID installed in your helmet, which can store your personal data, medical records and emergency contacts. If you are sick or you need help and need emergency care, thanks to NFC technology, it's possible for responders to rapidly obtain the data stored on the Caberg SOS Medical ID logo with their smartphone. Your emergency contacts can also be notified of your location via an SMS.
The Tanami is ready to be equipped with the Caberg Pro Speak Evo communication system that allows you to listen to music through your mobile or an MP3, to stay connected with your riding partner or passenger up to a distance of 200 meters, but also to connect to a GPS system.
To guarantee the maximum safety, the Tanami passed all the ECE 22.06 tests also with Caberg Pro Speak Evo installed.
