Advice & Guides You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
Having had 4 previous caberg helmets I was very keen to purchase this Tanami scram black/red/blue/light blue design helmet. Great ventilation, has a drop down sun visor and has a great field of vision. I have found this to be a bit tight fitting across my forehead and I struggle to get this helmet on, but there is a period of bedding in required so a few more rides with this will be needed otherwise a very stylish helmet to wear.
the helmet is a good fit for me size xl, reasonably quiet , as adventure helmets go this helmet is stable with no buffeting compared to my ls2 explorer on a windy day , I’m not sure the visor is as clear my ls2 has I think they called it optically correct visor and when it’s clean you hardly know it’s there , the tanami visor isn’t as good, and when used with drop down sun visor clarity gets worse still. The sun visor does operate nicely and as far as positioning goes it’s the best I’ve ever had , most sun visors sit in your eyeline and it’s very distracting this one sits in the perfect position
Bought this after another Caberg helmet, this helmet is a lot quieter than the Duke series and its very noticeable. Had 3 Caberg helmets and all fit very well for me and they look cool as well. The added safety feature with the scanable qr code is great as well. Overall a great adventure/tour helmet! You will see it on my YouTube soon!
