Advice & Guides You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
The build quality on these high-end Nolan helmets is absolutely spot-on. I also have the Nolan RS and this fits exactly like that I bought this helmet for touring sitting in a more upright position. Plus it has the sun visor that the RS has not ,There is a slight wind noise at the higher end of the speedo ?but nothing that really affects your ears just the wind passing over the helmet I am really happy with it and the Nolan range fits my head shape
customer service from Sportsbikeshop in Leeds is on point as always , very helpful in the Shop or if you need them at the end of the phone, they carnt do enough for you.
Built in sunvisor, with several stop points going down. Note you cannot reverse the stop points, only release it back up totally then start over, should that be needed. The return mech is a bit aggressive (no damping), but hopefully robust (time will tell).
Seems to have good aero - nice and quiet when facing forward (ride a naked bike, so reducing wind noise a strong point). Can notice it if you turn head left or right, but not massively intrusive. And that was without ear buds in. I have not yet fitted any comms system to it.
Finish quality seems very good, and I love the colour.
Have been a firm Arai believer I've never considered Nolan (or XLite) before but I took a risk as this helmet hit a number of things I was looking for in a sport touring helmet, with a sun visor. I'm very impressed with the built quality and comfort of the X-904. Looking forward to using it on my late August trip in sweltering hot Spain!
