Verified Customer Reviews for Rev'it Vendome 2 Cordura Denim Jeans
These are the only jeans that fit me out of the 6 brands I tried.
A nice level of stretch to the material.
Armour sits where it should.. I bought the additional hip armour for 15 pounds .
I got them mainly for my summer tours, in the evening you can wear them as regular jeans and they are bang on.
All the revit gear I have has been great.
Easy fit and can use on and off the bike.
For someone talk (6 foot 5) it's great to get trousers that at long enough that the keep the ankles covered even when sitting. Comfortably too. Hope the padding works if needed, it seems a little thin maybe.
Nice quality and not as heavy ass some the knee protection is thinner so less intrusive than some of the sculptured ones and I also purchased the hip protection you would barley know they are biker jeans.
Well thought out and designed jeans. Plenty of room around the waist etc so they don't pull down when riding. Tight in the ankle area so they don't catch on the pegs etc and pull you off balance. Knee armour sits in the right place as does the hip protection. Pleased with my choice and looking forward to comfort when riding.
Really nice comfortable pair of jeans. The sizing is a little on the large size. I'm normally a 31 or 32 inch waste but has to return the 31's for a pair of 30's. Very good quality and the material is very comfortable.
Knee padding is nicely incorporated and slim meaning you can hardly notice it's there which is nice. If I was being picky the padding on the knee is a little too high and doesn't go down the knee far enough. Still fine but it would be better down just that little bit.
Good reflective strip on the seam when turned up at the bottom. Over all, very good.
Fantastic Purchase
So I purchased these jeans, when trying these on for the first time out on the bike first thing I noticed right away was the fit very comfortable more than enough protection both to the knees and buttocks.
Also noticed that while riding no wind penetration leaving you cold at the end of a ride out I've got another pair brought previously that allows the wind in.
Highly recommend these to anyone great buy at a great price
Regards Mark
You can't tell the difference between these and regular jeans until maybe when you sit down and the knees look a bit chunky.
I tend to vary between a 34 and 36 inch waste and found going for a 34 (summer bod optimism) a great choice, fitted comfortably and no restricted movement or tightness.
Nice little feature with boots, rolling up the jeans has a reflective strip which is discreet but works will when needed.
Only negative is the knee pads feel a bit soft, but they've past the safety rating and I hope to never test them
Wouldn't look like normal jeans if they had a solid kneecap
Really comfortable, well fitted jeans.
Well made, perfect for what I want. Great to wear when riding or walking around.
Excellent product.
Comfortable and excellent quality. What more reason do you need to buy. Sizing was perfect, have no issues putting in a couple of hours saddle time. I bought these with the richa cafe race leather jacket. Excellent combination. The jeans are sturdy and I would have faith in them if I was to have a brush on the tar.
Really comfortable Jeans, it's actually difficult to tell these apart from my Levi's when I've got them on. They are well put together and stretch in all the right places.
Good quality feel comfortable a lot better than the pair I had from a competitor I am going to wear on my trip down to Spain would recommend these jeans
Got these to replace some Bullit Jeans that self-destructed within three months of everyday riding (stitching fell apart).
The Revit jeans are an excellent compromise between safety and comfort. The only Kevlar jeans I've been able to keep the knee armour in, you barely notice it's there.
+ Smart casual styling
+ Handy detailing e..g. reflective trims
+ Super low profile knee armour
- Price (expensive compared to bullit, but hopefully superior build quality)
- Seriously doubt they are as protective as full two layer jeans - nowhere near.
All in all, excellent for urban commuting and casual wear.
Time will tell if they last!
Great jeans, get the extra hip armour you won't notice it
Lots of good bits, lots of literature, and well worth the read, i.e. be careful where you sit as the colours can run. Allegedly. I've not got blue legs...
Shame about the hip armour not being included - I suspect the pocket is specific to RevIt armour as my Richa kit doesn't fit.
Very well made, and I know I'll more than recoup the cost when compared to a pair of Levi's. Yes I would recommend them, certainly for the convenience, and certainly for spring and autumn temperatures. Not worn them in the rain yet - any day soon no doubt..
Great sizing, bit tight on calf muscle nice and stretchy so comfortable and excellent knee armour very thin and pliable recommend you buy hip armour as well about £14 going to assen this year won't take spare jeans just use these one for the trip. Would buy again no itchy like Halvarssons
Excellent quality Jean, well cut , comfortable and looking every bit as good as a fashion Jean. Hip & knee protectors are easy to get in and out, and don't impact the look of the jeans. So good I probably need to buy a second pair
I tried a good few other riding jeans before receiving this Rev'It pair in the post. As soon I as tried them on I knew they were spot on. Lovely fit, very much like normal jeans I wear, not baggy at the hem like so many others, so can only wear boots over the top or short boots will be fine. Very comfortable too, the provide knee armour is unlike anything I've seen before, Rev'It's own technology I think, very slim and unobtrusive but CE rated so must do the job. Now I'haven't ridden the bike with them on yet given the wintery conditions, but I have no doubts they will be spot on then too. Feel good sitting on bike anyway. They look great and sizing is just your usual I've found though they are more of a slim fit. Really pleased with these jeans
