If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Feel heavy in your hands but the weight drops away when you re wearing them, I now have 2 pairs of these. Very comfortable, you can wear them all day without any issues ( and I have, several times).
As I find that when I find something that I like it is normally discontinued, I may be buying a couple more pairs to keep me going for a while.
Fit really well, plenty of material around thigh and with that the armour (I use cup style knee armour) it stays where it should be.
Well made as expect from rev'it.
Well happy with them.
Bought these for the summer, true to size and a good fit. Really comfortable and not too heavy. Armour is in the right places and is very unobtrusive, can't be seen. They seem to be very sturdy so overall an excellent product.
My first purchase of jeans and first impressions are very good. They are conformable, look good (even on me!) and provide an excellent level of protection. Great value for money.
These jeans have proven to be comfortable riding jeans that look like a regular pair of fashionable jeans.. The tapered fit works well if you have thick thighs like me. The denim fabric has a degree of stretch to them which also makes them feel comfortable and suitable for longer rides. I like the fact they're available in half waist sizes like 33" which means you can fit a good fit. I usually buy casual jeans in 32" length and went for the short length version. They prove to be a good length for off the bike, but in retrospect should have gone for regular length as riding with bent legs on a bike does shorten them.
Great fit and quality jeans with protection in the right places including hip protection which is usually optional. The majority of my kit is Rev'it, initially I tried a different brand at a lower price and they just didn't feel right, these are true to size and essentially you get what you pay for.
Very comfortable, look casual and seem really well made. Unfortunately, they're almost double the price of regular premium jeans and I'm not sure they're worth it. I went for the R leg length, as they already seemed quite long, but the L would probably stay tucked into my boots on longer rides, which has been a minor problem.
The Detroit TF (tapered fit) jeans are made of a stretch Cordura denim outer shell, which is on-par with today's demand for stretch jeans. It's then combined with PWR shield fabric at the high risk zones, further reinforcing its strength in the most important places. It's then all put together using PWR yarn, so these jeans mean business when it comes to offering motorcycle-ready protection. CE-rated impact protection comes from ultra-thin Seesmart armour at the hips and knees.
