Klim D3O IP Ghost Armour - Knee / Elbow

Genuine Klim armour for a jacket.
Items fitted straight in, as expected. Comfy and unobtrusive once in the sleeves of the jacket so no discomfort whilst wearing the kit.
Not tested them in a crash though.
Long lead time on these items (3 months) but kept up to date on their progress thanks to SBS emails.

Excellent bit of kit. Fits in the jacket easy and is so much less bulky than the standard armour. You would not know it was there but gives the same protection rating. Am in the process of changing my riding jeans as well.

Like everyone else, I have retro-fitted this ghost armour as it gives you the protective confidence without the bulk. increases the comfort whilst wearing and is still a good price for the protection. The only danger is that you will be replacing all of your old armour after this!

Very slimline armour that looks and feels great.

Upon review the D30 at CAT 1 is rated beyond the CAT1 requirements. So flexible and unintrusive. Have it in my armoured hoodie with a D30 back protector - perfect for the summer

I've replaced the yellow moulded armour in my jeans with these and what a difference. You hardly notice them, they' don't rub. get in to the 'wrong' position, don't restrict your movement and I've been riding for hours with a lot more comfort. I'm going to be replacing all of the moulded armour.

I have used these to replace the moulded D30 elbow protectors in my Rukka jacket They were very uncomfortable but you would not know the Ghost items are there.
My only reservation is that because they are so much thinner they can move in the pockets designed for the much larger moulded pads, so I will need to find a way of stopping that; perhaps some stitching or velcro.
