Good boot, got to replace my old smx 6 v1

Few new bits of padding

Good for road and track

Feel slightly smaller that the old ones

Worn these a couple of times now (2.5 to 3.5 hour rides) and really pleased with them. Really comfortable straight out of the box, bought my usual size, seem very well made with very good protection. And look really good too. Would definitely recommend. My motorbike jeans don't really fit over the top of the boots as they're quite bulky, but I do have 'slim fit' jeans. There's no pressure points from the jeans being inside the boots though.

I bought these to replace some old worn out TCX boots which are sadly no longer made.

I cant fault the boots so far - super comfortable from day one (no breaking-in required) and sizing is the same as other shoes/boots I wear. They do feel quite tight to get on (and off) but once on they are perfect.

It's turned colder as I'm writing this and I have found the boots very warm so think they may be a bit too warm for summer use.

I've ridden in light rain and showers so far and no issues with wet feet but not tested in heavy prolonged rain yet.

My opinion - worth the money.

These boots appear to be very secure and safe, when on they are very very comfy but, getting them on is hard and getting them off is very hard.
I say, try on a pair before you buy. My foot jams on way in and on way out but, they are great once on.

Purchase boots to replace old Alpinestars which had lasted 10 years. Boot fits perfectly and comfortable from the start with a good bit of protection, haven't been out in rain yet but I am sure they will be fine. Excellent service from SPORTSBIKESHOP

Have not used them in wet conditions just yet but they are very comfortable and true to size. would highly recommend these boots.

Had to send back cheaper boots as too small and no correct size in stock, chose the smx-6 V2 and could not be happier. Great looking boots and fantastic quality.
Pleased I went up a size as come up a bit small.

Only used them twice so far in dry conditions, will follow up with wet weather report . They were comfortable straight out of the box and true to size, I'm a uk9 and ordered a 44. I actually tried the boots at the Harlow store and they posted them to my home address free of charge as I was on the bike. Top notch service from SBS which is why I will keep returning time and again!

Already had these boots before and purchased again. Proper comfy from the moment you slip them on straight out of the box and great quality as you would expect from this brand. Sizing is advised to go a size up + I'm a 10 UK and wear a 46 in this model but a 45 in alpinestars trainer style boots which I also purchased. Completely dry feet in the worst weather this spring has to offer. Great grip from the soles so no slipping off the pegs or when walking around off the bike. Warm and toasty toes all day long. Not great in warmer weather as you will defo develop an acquired odour that loved ones may find slightly offensive when removed and left in communal household areas. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again any day.

I have returned to SMX boots after a gap. So glad I did, comfort and fit far better than my previous triumph boots.

Not a fan of full length boots but can't deny the level of protection they provide compared to ankle height motorcycle boots.

They run small so size up by 1 or 1 1/2 for a more comfortable fit especially if you like to wear thicker socks.

They have a 2222 Level rating. Really comfortable, no odd pressure points. Good movement and not restrictive. Really grippy rubber, even when wet. Easy enough to get on and off while standing. Good quality zips and strong velcro. Armour on both sides of your ankle. Overall finish is of a high quality.

They appear to be really really well vented, even with the drystar waterproof membrane. So in really cold weather, these are not the boots for me. In -2c with thick wool socks my toes were freezing within 30 minutes of riding. On the flip side during the peak of summer these will definitely keep your feet fresh and sweat free even during low speed commuting. I've worn warmer boots but they equally get very sweaty. I would still choose the alpinestars.

Can't comment on waterproofing.

If I had to find a negative, it's a struggle.....it's not a leather boot but a synthetic which appears to be a really good alternative. Hopefully it ages just as well.

Sizing is spot on fit straight out of the box, superb quality and used in the recent stormy weather and they kept my feet dry even after realy long ride commute.

Tried a number of other boots thanks to Sportsbikeshop's returns policy but these were the best by a long shot. Great quality and comfortable out of the box. Went up one size on my normal size.
