Bought as otherboots I had tried were too tight around my calf muscles and wouldn't do up. The boot is very comfortable to wear and have done short coastal walk and worn all day in warm full comfort with just a slighty thicker pair of socks on. I have no doubt they will be fully waterproof. Fit under my RST Trousers with ease and should give me shin protection for road use. Purchased 2 half sizes above my normal euro size to allow me to wear a slightly thicker sock as one half size was too tight with normal thin sock.

This is my 3rd pair of Alpinestars Web Gore-Tex Boots, and in total I have done more than 70,000 miles in them (collectively not just the one pair). And in all this time they have been 100% waterproof, and supremely comfortable, from -8C to + 38C. The zip and velcro fastening show no signs of wear, the only reason I replace them is when the sole wears out. Without doubt in 50+ years of riding these are the best bit of kit I have ever bought.

These replace my old pair that the zip broke on after 2 years daily use, so not too bad. They don't appear quite as good quality all round as my old pair but time will tell.

Having size fourteen feet and needing room for thicker socks on occasion I am happy that this huge size fits my huge wide feet. It was a bit of a struggle to put them on first and second time and the zips were a bit awkward while the new leather was stiff but now they go on quite easily.
The soles seem pretty sturdy just hope the rubber compound is hard wearing. I would like the boots to be taller but at least they fit. Gear changing is getting easier as the boots get more flexible.
The supposedly flexible front panel is not central as it should be and that causes a hard crease to dig into the front of my ankle. This sort of thing happens when workers are rushed and you can bet that they rushed in an Indian boot factory.
Overall they seem sturdy boots, certainly better than the AlpineStars size 50 that are too narrow and small.

Great roomy fit allows for winter socks to be worn, Being Gortex by Alpinestar from Sportsbikeshop I received exactly what I expected, a quality product the very next day that fitted correctly with a well made feel to the boots

I wore these boots on a trip to Sammy Millers, I was walking around in them for about an hour, completely forgotten I was wearing motorcycle boots, they were so comfortable. Warm and dry on the bike too, great product.

I bought these boots after two failed attempts with Oxfords version which were in no way waterproof - literally tried two pairs and after one commute of 21 miles they leaked like a sieve, both pairs!

These Alpinestars boots do in fact appear to be pretty waterproof, having ridden on my 20+ mile commute a few times over the last couple of weeks in some pretty heavy weather they have not leaked as yet. They were comfortable straight out of the box although were quite large for the sizing but that's allowed me to add a gel insole which has made them even more comfortable. They appear to be well made and were initially a little rigid but that gave very quickly so no breaking in for months.

Overall I would say they are worth paying the little extra compared to some of the cheaper alternatives and as always fantastic service from SBS & the customer service team with the returns of the other ones.

Liked the comfort, warmth, protection, waterproof. Feel lovely secure and supportive. Snug to get on, would like more grips to pull on boot.

Purchased after having to return a pair of Richa WP boots, twice!
The Alpinestars goretex boot is well made, comfortable, no breaking in needed but I found sizing on the large side, I usually take a 44 but elected for a 43 based on reports from other reviews.

Purchased these during some vile weather after my old boots gave up. Hopefully as expected, as they are new, I’ve been commuting daily up the east side of Windermere and not once once got to work or home with even damp feet. Totally happy.
