Sidi Gavia Gore-Tex - Black

After over 4 years of owning very good BMW boots I decided to do some trawling on what was out there at a more reasonable price. I came across these Sidis and having never owned a pair decided to go for it based on excellent reviews and competetive price. Have to say I'm not disappointed. Very good fit, I chose a size 12 but no problem with space on the bike and they feel very secure without being over-tight. Not tried in an absolute downpour, but have used in moderate rain and all good. Nicely bedded in now and I'm delighted. Thanks for a great service Sportsbikeshop.

Sidi always put that bit extra in to making sure you get what it says on the tin and these boots are no exception. They are comfortable straight out of the box and the price is very competitive with other brands. I have tried other but I always seem to come back to Sidi time after time.

Well I was searching the internet for weeks looking at touring boots that were rated as waterproof. Now as I have been riding bikes for 60 years come 13th January2022 I have brought and seen many pairs of boots supposedly waterproof which have not been. My last pair of Frank Thomas boots leaked like a colander when we were in France the other year so after reading all the reviews on these Sidi boots I yet again venture into the unknown. I have to say these boots are extremely comfortable on and of the bike and the YKK zips and the velcro fastening look really substantial and they are very easy to get on if like me your quite old, I also like the toe gear change strip that is fitted as it looks like it won't wear out in 5 minutes like some of them do. As I look after my boots these should last quite a while looking at the way they are put together. I have no concerns with anything I can see on the boots themselves as they do look very well made to say the least. The price I found to be really competitive as usual from the sports bike shop well done them. I wait to see what they are like in pouring rain but by the look of the finish on them I'm hoping I will be pleasantly surprised with dry feet making one 71 year old Chappy Happy. Overall I would personally rate the look and finish on these boots as an easy 10 compared with some I have seen and had at twice the price.

I've had Sidi boots before and they never disappoint. These are no exception, and the perfect replacement for my old touring boots. Well made and comfortable from the off.

Hadn't tested in heavy rain yet, however they performed fine in showery rain recently. Boots are comfy on and off the bike. They appear to be well made and should last for a good time. I'm a size 9 normally,but got the 9.5 UK size as I wear thick socks, perfect fit!

This is my 2nd pair of Sidi motorcycle boots and although new promise to be just as good as my first pair. It's early days yet and only a few miles done but the quality and fit right out of the box is excellent. My old ones were 100% waterproof and I see no reason for these to be any different. Looking forward to plenty of miles in 2021.

Well made boots that are light and comfortable. Good mid sole comfort when off the bike but not bulky to ride with. Good fit true to size and waterproof! Highly recommended especially for touring.

I had been looking for a pair of touring boots and decided to go for the Gavia Gore. Great quality and a good fit. The boots arrived the next day - once again excellent service from Sportsbike Shop!

I bought these to replace my 18 year old Hein Gericke boots, one of which had just started to ship some water...respect!...I'm a UK9 and initially ordered that but with my usual thick socks on were to snug...10.5 ordered and fit really well....have broken in nicely after some miles and look and feel like a real high quality item...I reckon they'd offer a decent level of protection in a spill....so far they haven't been tested in prolonged bouts of rain but have seen plenty of spray from motorway miles and have been fine...usual excellent order and returns policy from SBS...I'd recommend this boot.

Excellent boots, proved very comfortable and waterproof during a week-long trip in Europe. Recommended. Preferred over TCX X-Five Evo Gore-Tex as seemed more comfy. Fit as expected.
