Gore-Tex not keeping out water? There's a different procedure to getting it sorted, and here's an explainer...
Customers praise these boots for their comfort and protection, with several noting their waterproof and breathable qualities. They appreciate the sturdy construction, though some mention the initial stiffness that softens with wear. The boots are described as a good fit, though a few customers suggest sizing up. The ease of getting the boots on and off, thanks to the buckle system, and their suitability for both riding and walking are highlighted. The boots are considered a worthwhile investment for riders seeking durability and style for varied riding experiences.
I’ve already found them a pleasure to wear with no discomfort following a number of long trips. No hassle with zipper's to content with, just the ease of two buckles making them a joy to slip on and off.
They did feel a little strange to walk in at first but increasingly less noticeable the more they get worn in.
Smart looking pair of boots with a slightly lower leg length than the previous model. Wipe clean, no need for addition waterproofing just a very, very, occasional standard shoe polishing.
They’re not leather, but a microfibre-type ‘imitation’ which works brilliantly well. I’ve worn them all year round, in all weathers - some extensive torrential rain in N Wales, Scotland Picos, Austria, France etc. So far they have remained completely dry internally. Miles covered over 2 years of wear? About 30k.
These boots are extremely well constructed, comfortable, sturdy, very light and look great without feeling bulky. The quick release catches are very sturdy and give you confidence that they will stay fastened. Overall, a great boot but quality like this doesn’t come cheap.
Absolutely top notch boots, really comfortable and well made but …. You must order a full size up otherwise your toes just won’t fit in as whilst the length is fine, the width across your toes is extremely tight.
The retention strap/quick release system is a god send. Perfect do everything boot - highly recommended
Great quality boots. They look good, offer great support, are easy to get in and out of and are waterproof. As per other reviews, order a size larger than normal. I also found them a little narrow, which is not usual for me.
I was looking for a good quality boot at the right price to replace my old Richa boots. Good fit when tried on at the shop. Not yet tried out but will be used on my trip to Scotland.
I've worn these in temperatures ranging from freezing to about 35C and they have always been very comfortable and waterproof. Fine for wandering around in, too. Very sturdy feel to them and the soles give excellent grip.
The clasps are much easier to use than zips or laces.
Great build quality comfy on the feet walking and riding
These were comfy straight out the box and fit well. Lots of adjustment with the straps.
Surprised at how light they were too!
Not tried them in the rain yet but they are goretex so I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.
If you're after some mid boots that your jeans go over and are great to walk in I'd highly recommend these.
I've had several Sidi boots over the years and loved them all.
This is the 1st pair of mid boots though and, whilst the construction and support is second to none, the to room of the boots chafed the skin from the front of my shins at the end of the days ride and we're quite uncomfortable.
Whether this was caused by the boots being too tight, my riding position or the boots being stiff from new I have yet to figure but I have never experienced this before from any other boots I have owned albeit road or off- road.
I'm sure they will bed in over time but hey ho.
Comfortable boot to wear while riding but when walking I get a pocket of trapped air under my soles which feels strange to walk around in. Strange.
Good fit and size correct all be it a bit stiff but not uncomfortable and I'm sure they will wear in fine
These look and feel like a top quality item, as you would expect from Sidi.
They are comfortable but they do feel quite stiff. I'm sure they will loosen up a little with wear.
No experience of the waterproofing yet but I'd expect these to fine.
I would say they are quite a small/narrow fit but I went up from 44 to 45 and they feel perfect for me.
Overall a fantastic pair of boots.
I have had Sidi products for years even use Sidi shoes for cycling and they have always been a good fit for me and great quality, with longevity. These boots fit really nice, and good for walking in. The way the close and lock makes them feel very secure. Like the colour and nice to have a different style of boot that isn't like a race/sports boot and not a full on tour or adventure boot. Nice for when you just enjoy going for a ride. Excellent product.
Really well designed and well made boots. Size is good but perhaps not quite a generous as my full length Sidi Adventure 2 boots but not enough to warrant going up half a size.
They're quite stiff when first worn but a couple of ride outs and a bit of walking they soon soften up and become very comfortable indeed. Excellent protection for the feet and ankles and I'd recommend them.
