Really impressed with these Alpinestars SMX-1 Air V2 gloves. They feel lightweight and comfortable while offering a secure, confidence-inspiring fit. The ventilation is great for warmer rides, and the protective features give reassurance without making the gloves feel bulky. The black and fluo yellow design looks fantastic too — stylish, practical and excellent quality!
I commute 35 miles each day, and on those scorching hot rides my hands used to arrive at work completely soaked in sweat—not ideal at all. These gloves changed that completely. Thanks to the excellent mesh ventilation, my hands now stay dry and soft even on the hottest days.
They offer just the right amount of protection to ride with confidence, while still feeling comfortable and letting me sense the bike’s controls clearly. They do run a bit small, so sizing up was a good call.
These aren’t my everyday gloves, but for warm weather they’ve become my absolute favorites. I’m really impressed—charming, practical, and effective. Highly recommended if you ride in the heat!
Nice looking mesh glove from Alpinestars. I usually wear Large gloves but these are fairly tight across the palm although the fingers are perfect.
The velcro fastener is a bit small.
These are good gloves buy I find the wrist strap could be a like larger.

The quality of the alpinestars gloves really surprised me as they are mid range in terms of price. The small Velcro strap is very strong and the just the feeling of the gloves while riding is amazing. 10/10

These are only my second pair of Alpinestars gloves, my other pair were getting a bit threadbare and were leather. These are my first pair of textile gloves, having purchased them for summer riding. The gloves are very well made, durable, well ventilated, have protection where is it needed, I especially like the knuckle protection, and they break in quickly. I purchased a size large, which is a snug fit without compromising comfort and dexterity. I particularly like the touchscreen finger tips on the index fingers, which is a nice feature to have. My only observation is that I find the Velcro wrist strap is a little bit short, which although feels secure, could do with being a bit longer. This has no impact on ,my 5 star rating for these gloves, as we all have a preference. I highly recommend these gloves and look forward to a few more years wearing them. Buy one size up but otherwise perfect delivered in three days
As my very first pair of motorcycle gloves, the Alpinestars SMX-1 Air V2 have more than lived up to expectations. The build quality feels superb, every seam is neat, the materials seem robust, and I’m confident they’ll stand the test of time. Comfort is generally excellent, though a small section of internal stitching at the top of the thumb can dig in a little at first; I imagine this will ease off after a few more rides, but it’s worth noting for your initial impressions.
I also noticed a slight gap where the wrist strap fastens, which aids ventilation on hot days and does the job, but I would have preferred a more snug closure without compromising airflow. Beyond these minor niggles, the SMX-1 Air V2 are a superb summer glove, breathable, protective and smartly finished. They’re an excellent entry-level choice; the minor drawbacks won’t bother every rider.

Purchased these gloves for warm weather riding. Does exactly what I need them too. Fits well, well made and most importantly provides ventilation.
Very comfortable look good ect ect. Only thing I would change is the strap length for the wrist as it's very short.....or I have abnormal wrist lol
Have always used Alpinestar gloves and after retiring my Alpinestars Scheme Aramid Glove I needed a ligthweight/summer glove. These have loosened up pretty nicely after one ride.
As with Alpinestars, would recommend going one size up if you have used other brands such as RST... my RST winter gloves are a Small and all my Alpinestar Gloves are Mediums.
Lovely quality gloves and a bargain at £45 courtesy of a price match. They cannot be compared to my previous ARMR SHL225 gloves. I've had them a few weeks and they're loosening up nicely and are extremely comfortable. The lack of tabs to help pull them on, and short Velcro wrist straps that don't even go over my watch prevent a 5 star score.
A very comfy summer glove from the outset. A great looking glove with all necessary protection, yet providing great ventilation. I see many riders in the summer risking the ride without gloves because hands get warm, but they would be well advised to try these.
Wanted a glove that was short with good airflow for the hot weather we've been getting this year. These didn't disappoint. First pair of Alpinestars gloves I've owned and the quality is great. Very comfortable after the first few rides, great airflow to keep your hands cool. They feel like they would offer some good protection if needed. Love the carbon knuckle protector. Great value at £50.
Great gloves! These gloves look great and are super comfortable. I would recommend looking into what size you need. Normally I'd were normal size gloves but got large and they're still quite snug. Got these because I had very similar ones for about 5 years and they took a lot of hammer so thought I'd treat myself. Really good quality.
