If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Bought to upgrade a Knox Urban Pro Mk2 armoured shirt to level 2. I prefer these to the newer micro version. They are thicker, but softer and mould to your shape.
Bought to replace the level one armour in a set of Hein Gerike leathers and these are a perfect direct fit for the elbow/forearm armour originally fitted in the suit.
These are soft compared to the ones the suit came fitted with but hope they would do a better job than the original ones
Most of my motorbike gear has this in and love it soft and comfortable and safe
tried everything ..... also been using knox for years .... but this one has cracked it ..... softest yet , forget ive got them on and on top CE2 protection ..... also actually form to body as claimed in all temperatures ..... totally reccomend .....
Only not 5 star because I haven't crashed yet. Use these to replace the ce-2 "hard" armour that came with my alpinestars touring trousers. What a difference! So much more pleasant and still ce-2.
Can't review the protection cos I've not fallen off but the comfort is excellent - I'm not aware that it's there, doesn't get much better than that.
The Knox Micro-Lock elbow and knee protectors use smart technology and properties to keep the armour super soft to touch but locks upon impact. The locking action increases the amount of impact absorbed by the protector and reduces the energy passed through to your body.
