Give your fingers a treat with the right pair of winter gloves...
Ideal for when it’s not sub zero outside. These are a very comfortable glove, the lining does get a little tight but otherwise a good fit, just right at xxl.
I have only used these gloves once in 4 degree temperatures. My hands were kept warm over a 45 mile trip.
The gloves are well made and look nice. My only slightly adverse comment is that when taking them off the inner liner sticks to the hand and fingers and putting them on again is somewhat fiddly as the little finger lining seems to catch the finger. I will try with a pair of silk inner gloves, which should solve the issue.
It does the job perfectly well. This is my first pair of winter gloves and I only used it in 4-5 degrees so far. It kept my hands warm enough.
Good fit for me, outlast lining works great for winter/ spring rides. Comfortable ,not too bulky.
Not been out in the wet yet but most Merlin stuff is reliable.
Very happy.
I bought these to match my Merlin leather jacket and they are excellent.
Good quality leather, and warm enough for the early morning ride to work in temperatures down to 2 degrees.
I especially like the tight fitting cuff, as it can fit under the jacket sleeve.
The leather was a bit stiff at first, but soon loosened up after a couple of uses. Highly recommended.
Great gloves, really comfortable straight away. Sizing spot on. Wore them on a 2 deg ride and my hands stayed warm. Would recommend them without hesitation.
I've used these Merlin Catton gloves recently in cold 5° and warm 12° temperatures they were great as advertised and the outlast liner kept my hands at a nice temperature on both rides. The gloves are long fitting and can go under or over your jacket, the Velcro on the cuff is only small and I couldn't get a really tight, snug fit on my wrist though. There are some great features on the glove; outlast liner, reflective trim, quilted trim and small wiper to clean your visor or goggles. When removing the glove the liner can feel a bit loose like it's trying to come out with your hand.
They are a good glove and the +ve's out weight the -ve's, especially with almost 50% off but I would be disappointed if I had paid the full price
These tick all the boxes for me. Not much wrist baggage, so go under the sleeve nicely. Totally waterproof. Warm without being too bulky. Nice supple leather makes them instantly wearable. look like they will last for years. Sizing was accurate
Bought when old gloves got scuffed. Size fitted great and was able to try on in store. I hope that they will wear in to fit. Great product.
Very thick and warm gloves for cold days. I hope the movement will become better with the rides.
It is a good quality product overall as expected. It is surprisingly warn considering its thickness; so the Outlast lining is not just marketing.
The only issue is that the gap between the ring and little fingers seems to be a bit too much (for my hand, at least), and the material makes some extra ridges when holding the fingers together tightly. However, it seems to bit better over time, as the material softens, and or I am getting used to not holding my finger tight.
Really was attracted to the look of these gloves and they don't disappoint in the flesh. Probably slightly thicker than I expected so colder weather use than I had anticipated. Seem really nicely made and seem to be nice quality leather...
As expected, good product. Only notes:
1. they take a few hours to loosen off
2. the sizes are a little ambitious. If in doubt go up a size
Great product
