They don't look like motorcycle boots, they are not waterproof but boy do they look good with their old fashion country/cowboy-esque appearance. On my feet they were comfy straight out the box and there is certainly a hint of quality about them too, full grain leather that appears hand dyed which will develop patina faster than you can kickstart a two stroke on a hot day, or as others have written they can look badly worn after only a few miles. Another comment was the zip on its own does not allow them to be removed, as the zip does considerably aid them being donned/removed and takes 2 seconds to unzip or zip, I am pretty sure if it wasn't there the complaints would be the required effort and time consuming trouble of getting them on or off, so I consider it to be a good addition and it also adds more to the style. My only real negative is to do with quality control, my first pair had an issue with some poor stitching on one boot, due to the machinist possibly being on the lash the day before, with SBS this was not really a problem for me, I just exchange them for another pair, I hope this will be fed back to the company as it really is a shame. To conclude what a beautiful pair of boots, the actual colour of them is variable from pair to pair, which is not an issue unless you want it to be, it makes them individual and unique, My second pair equally comfortable as my first, excellent stitching and something I love wearing on or off the bike and as always a big thank you to SBS for the absolutely brilliant service.

Looking badly worn after just 500 miles

Firstly - the colouring of these boots is far more orange than brown, a lot more so than the pictures show.

They're comfortable enough and sole / heel seem fine. Light armour - nothing notable.

However, they look knackered after just 500 miles. The left one especially - lack of gear change pad has left a nasty black mark, the leather join at the toe cap has curled up, and the inside heel leather has blackened off where it's been rubbing against the side of the peg mount.

I'd probably just buy a pair of Dickies work boots, get just as much protection, they'd not look trashed in no time, and even if they did I could buy 2 pairs and still have change in my pocket.

The boots look great.
The boots feel great.
The boots wear great.
The heel on the boots also give me a little extra leg length, helping me to reach the ground easier when stationary on the bike.
The boots are also great for everyday non bike use.

After reading reviews in MCN, Etc, I chose these boots as hopefully I will soon be buying a more "Retro" bike and thought these looked the part.
Although a little stiff when new, they soon soften up and are very comfortable.

Good fit and sizing is spot on. The side zip makes them easy to put on. There's some ankle reinforcement but other than that I can't really see what the difference is between these and non-motorcycle boots. I like them though, so I'm keeping them.

Excellent boot, fit like a glove straight away, no need to bed them in.
Very warm even on bitter windy days, very comfortable.
Agree with another reviewer that they are a bit lighter in colour (more of a tan) but excellent value for money.

The Kaspars are a super comfy good looking classic boot at a great price. I had an issue where some of the web detail needed updating. I contacted SBS and this was done at once with first rate online customer service. What more can you really ask from a company ! . That's why I use them.

A great pair of boots, perfect for rides into town where I don't want to be walking around in my big touring boots.
Only two small negatives, the boot colour is more tan that the image and you quickly get an oil smear over your left boot, but hey they are for biking!

excellent boots, good fit warm and dry on a 1hr 15 minute ride to Rotherham Friday morning in the rain and 4 degrees, would give a five star rating if they added a gear shift pad. Yes I did see they didn't have one but I'm knew to biking (The ride to Rotherham was for Mod 1 test [passed]). Still really impressed with the boots though, the addition of shift pad would make them even better.

This is the first time I have bought footwear online. I was sceptical that they would fit. I was proved wrong they fit like a glove and require no breaking in. Really comfortable.

Really impressed with how comfortable they are. Could easily wear them all day and they're stylish enough to wear when not on the bike. The leather has blackened where it comes into contact with the shifter but these are my first pair of leather boots so I'm not sure if that is expected or not.

I wanted a boot which didn't look like a biker boot and these are perfect also they are so comfortable out the box and didn't need to wear them in.
The quality is outstanding and great protection.

So far they are pretty much what I expected: quite stylish boots that are comfortable to wear also off the bike, without looking out of place or being too warm. The leather appears to be of good quality, too. Protection seems relatively light but should be OK for a boot like this. I do find it a bit hard to get in and out of the boot without opening both the laces and the zipper, which sort of defeats the purpose of the zipper, but it may change as the boots soften up.

I have to note also that the shopping experience was first class, and shipping to Europe was amazingly smooth and fast (hopefully this will not change after Brexit!).

Very good looking boots and comfortable. Got these for the office and you wouldn't know they are motorbike boots.
Would question the level of waterproofness as the tongue is open at the sides allowing any water to get through but not a problem for me really.
Great service from sportsbike shop as always!
