Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...

Customers have shared positive feedback about Bull-it Jeans, stating they are comfortable and versatile for both on and off the bike use. Reviews frequently advise purchasing a size down due to the jeans' stretchy material, ensuring a perfect fit. The armor is praised for its well-placed and discreet protection. Some customers noted issues with sizing, but overall, the quality and affordability impressed them. The jeans are appreciated for their flexibility, comfort during riding, and stylish look, making them a favored choice for casual wear and motorcycle trips.
These jeans fit very true to size and feel very comfortable from the first try on. I’m 5’11” and a 34” waist and regular inside leg and these are excellent. They have a a lot of movement with the stretch fabric and the armour doesn’t feel intrusive at all. I just need to try on the bike, but excellent so far!
Buying any clothing online is a lottery if you ask me, how many times do you buy something and it's the wrong size all of a sudden even if you usually wear stuff in that particular size. Well anyway I read a few reviews of these jeans and decided to go ahead and take a punt, as I don't actually own any safe trousers for my riding in any case and I bought the exact size that I am and well, they did fit for once. Hurrah.
They fitted really well too, not to tight or loose, but nicely so that when I start riding (I am a fair weather rider only, the cold is just horrible and unenjoyable on 2 wheels in my experience) I know I can wear some clothing which doesn't look like I'm a bike knight in leather armour. Rather, I'd say, a normal unassuming look which will give me protection "in case" ... I like the hip protection, knees obviously is a good thing to protect but also the material has some kind of "magic" element (I forget precisely) woven into it for further anti-tear or rip (or something useful like that).
They're great for what I need and I look forward to trying them on as and when the next warm, non wet day presents itself. Would I recommend them? Definitely. So if you're looking for some decent riding jeans that look ok when you're off the bike, I'd say you could do a lot worse than these so... go and do the thing, you'll be happy.
Great fitting out of the bag. I was worried with all the size-down talk, but I just went for my normal jean size and they fit perfect. 36L. I'm 80kg and 183cm. I went for the 36 long, glad I did. They're comfortable, not skin-tight, but not too loose. Perfect when on the bike and walking around.
These jeans have all that you need. They fit great and the knee armour does move around like some. They are extra long making them right when you are on the bike.
Let’s see how they last but first impressions are very good
Excellent value, especially at sale price. Well made, quality fabric, decent armour and good fit, with some elasticity. Lightweight compared to my RST jeans, perfect for the warmer months.
Bought these for my son, after he bought his 1st bike. These have gone down so well with him, and his mates!!!!
Comfortable and protective, worth every penny
These fit true to size. Look great and are exceedingly comfy. Not ridden in the rain but I’d wear waterproofs anyway. Highly recommend these jeans.
These seem pretty tough and well made, and at the price I paid, brilliant values
I didnt' expect such a perfect fit, however, as soon as I put them on they fitted perfectly.
For nipping around the local areas they are so comfortable, I now have good quality AA bike jeans for shopping and a AAA pair for faster long rides on dual carriageways/motorways.
These new jeans did not disappoint for comfort and looks. They seemed able to keep me dry in a light rain shower.
Well worth the price, size and fit were spot on even for a shorter leg. Plenty of stretch when riding In the saddle and relaxing in the coffee shop.
Plenty of room around the (... er um larger) waist without looking like a set of oxford bags from the 60's.
I would easily recommend these Bull-It jeans for shorter distance riding but would still go for AAA on faster roads and longer trips.
As always, good kit and good service from Sprotsbikeshop.
Fab, well fitting jeans. Knee and hip pads and the right amount of stretch. Will definitely be getting another pair
I was looking for a comfortable pair of jeans for a while. I tried a few and these were the best. Good value as well.
Excellent fit, get a size smaller than usual, and hard wearing. Not too warm in summer and ok in spring and autumn. Would heartily recommend
Stretchy and comfortable with great armour and look good.
Nice stretch fit, comfortable on the bike and looks like a normal pair of jeans. Easy ordering and returns process. Sportbikeshop are the benchmark to beat for customer service and prices
These jeans are very comfortable, and stretchy, size up quite large ,so if purchasing, I would go with normal size and one smaller to ensure best fit. I changed the knee armour in mine to the bullet zero, much more comfortable, but the supplied hip armour is fine.
I wear them all of the time, comfortable and seem hard wearing, no issues there good riding jeans not much more to say
I've used these jeans nearly daily for about 8 months and they're showing little to no wear.
The jeans are extremely comfortable and lightweight, some jeans are quite heavy, but you could probably wear these all day and not get uncomfortable on hot days, I’d definitely recommend them

The armour is positioned in to sewn in pockets within the jeans, that fasten with Velcro closures, and so the adjustment would be minimal.
We can confirm that a 34 short does equate to a 34" waist and a 30" leg.
