Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...

Customers generally find these jeans comfortable with a good fit and commend their value for money. The stretchy fabric aids comfort, while the unobtrusive armour provides confidence in protection without being bulky. Some mention having to adjust the waist or leg size for the best fit. A few find the knee pads tricky to position, but overall, these jeans are noted for their quality and durability. They’re widely recommended for casual wear, and their stylish look makes them suitable for both riding and everyday use.
Most motorcycle jeans seem to think everyone has toothpick legs. These actually give my butt and thighs a chance to exist.
Found sizing to be slightly long but quality looks value for money
These can be casual but protective at the same time. Much easier than putting on the full kit each time, especially in the summer
They come a little big but they re nice and weighty and I quite like that and they fit nicely around a boot/shoe very good.
I've been using these jeans for a year so far with about 7300 miles under my belt, so they've been washed a heap of times without issue. The hip & knee armor still seem in good shape and the pockets the armor sits in are also quite tough, surviving the armor being removed and reinserted just fine. If there is any slight issue, its the knee armor sometimes not staying where you'd prefer, but with a bit of fettling you can get it to sit right. I'd consider buying them again when they finally wear out, but it doesn't seem likely it's happening any time soon!
I usually wear Hood jeans which are thick denim and a full kevlar lining from the butt to the boot. A buddy kept raving about these as an alternative "just as good", so I finally gave them a try when on sale.
No. They feel like normal jeans and were overly loose on the waist. Without the pouches and armour you'd think they were normal off-the shelf jeans.
Pretty basic
After one ride I gave them away.
Wanted jeans that fit well and look casual and these are perfect, you can’t see the padding but know it’s there and feel safe in them, padding sits perfect on the knee. Would recommend these to anyone.
Extremely comfortable, warm and great for a long or short ride out
bought these for the summer. Very comfortable and not too bulky like others
Very happy with these jeans. They feel sturdy, the padding feels competent without being funny-looking, and the fit is bang on for size.
I’d recommend these jeans. They look great, fit well and are comfortable. Padding/protection is minimal around the hips but other than that I’ve no complaints.
Trouser feels comfy and is ok to wear after riding instead of having to change if at work etc. Sizing a bit generous, if normally 36, go for 34. Best option is use shop try before buy option. Just have a look at different fitment options too, slim and straight etc.
Nice stone finish looks good if if it matches your aesthetic. Quality seemed high.
These have been my fair-weather choice for over 3yrs. The "straight" cut is much looser than the image suggests. Go down a size, their 32 is perfect for my 34-waist in regular jeans/trousers. They have plenty of room at the ankles for an adventure-style boot.
They claim to be water-resistant and I've tested this a couple of times, but I wouldn't like to chance them through a "Scottish Summer".
I’ve been really impressed with these motorcycle jeans. They’re extremely comfortable both on the bike and when walking around — no stiffness or bulkiness that you sometimes get with other protective gear. The material feels tough and reassuring, offering solid protection without being overly thick or heavy.
Despite being built for safety, they still look just like a regular pair of jeans, which is a big plus if you’re out and about. You’re getting proper protection without compromising on comfort or appearance. If you're after riding jeans that give you confidence on the road but still feel like everyday wear, these tick all the boxes.
These are fantastic jeans, well worth the money, the leg length is good, not to long, you will need to order a size down, i am usually a 36 waist but ordered a 34 waist & the fit is perfect, i am a 29 inside leg & the knee protectors are spot on, also as ever fantastic service from SBS.
These jeans are seriously comfy and do exactly what they say on the tin. Mega value for money at this price! Read some other reviews about the positioning of the knee pads when stood, but honestly I'm not sure what people expect. The jeans obviously contract a bit when you sit down and the padding is then exactly where you want it for protection. Stood up, the pads sit on my knee cap and maybe this takes a few minutes to get used to, but tbh you can't really notice and they look normal, so. I personally see absolutely no issue.
