Extremely convenient and comfortable

Extremely convenient and comfortable to wear on the bike. I found them a little stiff at first and after a days riding in them my ankle was sore. I hope over time they will give. Like the zip on the side. great for getting them on and off. Great lever protection on them which protected my foot. Good for general walking around in them. Hopefully they will get even better as they give. Great service as always from sportsbikeshop. Best online company I have ever dealt with.

Have had these for two years now, and not only have they been supremely convenient and comfortable to wear on a bike, but for general walking around they are my preferred boot to any other I have. The zip up sides are extremely convenient. They have gotten wet in unexpected downpours, but thats because I've not had waterproofing over the lip of the boot - so entirely my fault - otherwise they have been perfectly adequate for shower proof use. Excellent, and will buy again.

First off thanks to SBS for the great service, I've got wide feet and theses boots are not, so went up a size also I got longer laces for comfort and ease. The boots seem to be great quality inside and out, not worn them in the rain yet , but it looks like they will cope with a shower. Nice soft sole so I can keep them on all day with no problems. Don't be precious, they will scuff in the normal places, just use good old boot polish to make them look good as new.

Exactly what I was after. A really secure but comfortable fit and made with quality materials. Love the zip, it opens the boot out just enough to let you slide your foot in and out so you never have to touch the laces. I may have found my new favourite brand!

So pleased with these boots. No need to wear them in as they are super comfy straight out of the box. As with other John Doe products that I have the fitting is spot on and true to size. They look amazing and just like any casual footwear rather than heavy or chunky bike boots even though they have all the right protection where it's needed. The side zips are really strong and well made and makes putting the boots on and taking them off so easy. Great value especially with the current 20% discount for the John Doe range and once again the service from sportsbikeshop was second to none.
