Oxford Elasticated Cargo Net

Strong & reliable elasticated cargo net with plenty of stretch but not so much stretch that it's baggy. Hooks have rubber tips to protect precious paintwork.

Quite simply every biker should own one, keep it under the seat in case of unforeseen cargo

It’s a net.

The hooks work but they lost their protective soft tips within minutes. I’m thinking of welding ball-ended pins to the (home made) rack and doing away with the hooks - they un-hook from the mesh easily. These (I bought one large and one standard) will help my on-bike packing and secure a petrol can.

Those of you who have been biking for some time will no doubt be familiar with the venerable ‘Cargo’ net. Sadly things have changed. This version has much lighter guage corner hooks which are finished with rubber caps/tips which are a very loose fit. In use the tips/caps fall off very easily leaving a very sharp/ragged cut end ready to scratch your paint and/or cut your skin. After 10 frustrating minutes of fitting to the bike whilst trying not to dislodge the rubber tips, I gave up and resigned the item to the bin. Sadly I wouldn’t recommend this item. Which is a real shame

This comes in handy more times then you can imagine. It can fit backpacks to small bag for life's under it. Also if you need to take something small like a bottle, just grab a clip and clip it to the net

This product is really useful. Expands, holds firm and when not in use can be stored away neatly. Can't see why you wouldn't use it.

Well made and sturdy cargo net - good enough to secure every items to bike as and when required

For what it is, this well-made cargo-net is a real asset to my normal riding. Carry it all the time without a thought. Hook it to the bike or rack and it's there when you just want to buy something but didn't want to carry your top-box or panniers. It's easy to stretch with plenty of hooks to secure a spare helmet or loaf of bread

Just what I needed for some extra security with the items on my back seat. Well made with plastic hook coverings to stop any scratches on my bike. As always great advice from SBS.

As expected from Oxford and sportsbikeshop - excellent. Good quality with robust hooks

Unintended purchase as needed something to bungy my new jacket to the bike. Good quality straps but the rubber tips can fall off if you are not careful. Would be better if they were molded on.
