Bought to match jacket which I exchanged for smaller size. Trousers true to size, no issues. Good build quality, certainly looks like it will last the three years before I change kit again. So far found to be comfortable and waterproof. Excellent service from Sportsbikeshop as usual.

Does exactly what it says on the tin - really warm with the added line, and are waterproof, even in the heaviest downpour. The reason I gave it a four, and not five is because I feel I will need to re-wax them at some point!

Quality in a pair of trousers

Love the Merlin brand and their products as price is good and the quality is something that should be costing ££££££. They fit great but they are a large fit so I went a size down. The thermal quilt does the job in the cold and I have to say they really are waterproof. Nice to see also YKK Zippers which again oozes quality in this product.

Like a sporty pair of Barbour trousers

These are a very light oiled cloth finish pair of textile jeans, the fit is true to the size, the padding feels good throughout, feels like a really quality article.
Downsides: the removable thermal lining doesn't have hooks to hang up, and there are hip protector pockets but you have to buy the actual pads for those separately for £30.
