Feel like Batman!

Confidence inspiring under armour, with aramid abrasion resistant panels. I chose this to item to wear underneath my motorcycle hoody (which also has armoured sections). Body hugging design, and a nice touch with the thumb loops to help keep the thing in place. Not particularly cheap, but what price do you put on safety? SBS choice and delivery times superb as always. Returning customer. 5*

I was looking at this shirt and the Knox range, but opted on this. When it arrived it fitted great, looked great, and was really comfortable. HOWEVER, when I looked at how the armour is removed for washing I saw it can't be. Therefore the garment cant be washed....?!?! Wouldnt be long before the missus would be instructing me to leave it in the garage...... disappointing as otherwise it would have been perfect. I purchased the Knox to replace (unfortunately from another retailer as I needed it immediately and it was out of stock at SBS) and its brilliant. And its washable. Great service, delivery and returns from SBS as always.

Fits like a glove

I've been looking for some under armour when wearing a hoodie or casual jacket for short journeys and his ticked all the boxes. It's comfortable and fits well almost looks like something out of a Batman film! This will definitely offer you more protection than not wearing anything and also has Kevlar within it. Delivery as always was spot on

Armour for all occasions

A very versatile peice of kit for both on and off road riding. The shirt is very low profile and holds the armour in place much better than any integrated armoured jackets. I have been using it under my regular riding jacket and most of the time I forget it is there! During the warmer months it will be fantastic to keep cool wearing it under a regular hoodie or jersey. The armour is thin but D30 has a good reputation, my only gripe is that the double layer is on the shoulders. In future models it would be better if the back protection was doubled up too. The kevlar protection really puts this shirt into a category of its own and was one of the main reasons for buying. All in all a great bit of kit and very comfortable to wear.

This is VERY comfortable. Perfect for mountain biking, under other armour or where you are worried you might be in a skid. The D3O is only a few mm thick and not all the padding is D3O, so I think in a significant collision you wouldn't get anywhere near the protection as approved CE rated and thicker gear.
I still recommend it for commuting. There is always risk on any bike.. I went off on my mountain bike and on the green lanes and believe it did it's job. You could wear it all day and forget you had it on. Very cool in the summer.
