Alpinestars T-SPS Air Textile Jacket - Black / Yellow Fluo

Purchased this jacket to give me more ventilation while riding in the summer months.

Build quality is great as you would expect from alpinestars.
I found the sleeves to be a little longer compared to other brands which is perfect for my riding position.

Great feature is the low cuff collar, it's not restrictive and very comfortable

I opted to run the back protector for extra comfort and safety,

Lightweight jacket, perfect for summer or heatwave riding. Bit too vented for cooler weather riding unless extra layers worn underneath. No back protector and can't upgrade level 1 elbow or shoulder armour. Superb fast service by SBS as always

It's far too cold to wear this summertime bike only airflow jacket at the moment, but the build looks good and stylish. I'll report back after using it on the bike hopefully when the temperatures get over 25 degrees C!

A summer bike jacket was something I honestly didn't think I needed. I guess now it's like having air con in the car, you'd never go back to not having it.

The jacket is amazing, and the mesh panels work like a dream.

I would say anything less than 15° is a tad chilly, and anything over 25° is obviously just circulating warm air around the jacket. That said it's still better than the alternative.

My only negative would be that when the zip is done right up there is no tag to stop it flapping about. After a few times of it hitting the bottom of my chin, I took the scissors to it. Problem solved.

With normal jackets riding in temperatures over 25c was a sweaty, uncomfortable and at time unbearable experience...

This jacket changes that completely! It really does make all the difference in high temperatures. I wish I bought it years ago.

Only negative is the flimsy body armour (hence 4 stars). The jacket should come with "proper" hard armour. Note that you can change it yourself, just have to buy that separately.

Great jacket for the summer, nice and cool and fits very well, had to send back for a smaller size (my fault) and had a replacement jacket no problem great service from sportsbikeshop as always

Stylish, light, breathable, visible and top protection with extra back and chest plates. Brill!

Decided it was time to invest in a mesh jacket so had a quick look around and settled on this Alpinestars jacket. Wasn't disappointed as it's up to there usual standard, top quality and does exactly what's expected. Fit is just like any other Alpinestars jacket, seems really well made and well designed.

Fantastic jacket! It's really light and comfortable, the mesh panels make a huge difference in warm weather. Air flow through it is superb and no more overheating, even when stopped on hot days.
