Resurgence Gear's take on the iconic N1 Deck jacket designed for harsh weather for the US Navy in WWII, and made famous by the likes of Paul Newman and James Dean in the 1950s, is 'tweaked' for riding. Dropping the curve at the back, removing the drawstrings, so they don't snag on the bike, lined with Pekev and with added D3O IP Ghost and Viper armour. Combining this iconic design for the US Navy with the protection needed to look cool while riding.

PEKEV Technology
Resurgence Gear have developed the 3rd generation fabric PEKEV; one of the strongest and stable fabrics available. Made from the world's toughest polymer with the highest tensile strength in yarn, PEKEV has raised the standard in terms of protection, pushing the limits of Aramid and Ethylene fibres using the right spinning techniques to improve the tensile strength then converting them into fabric with the right blends. In comparison to other aramid fibres, PEKEV is thinner, lighter, and stronger. In addition, PEKEV is more durable and stable being also highly resistant to corrosive chemicals with the exception of oxidizing acids. The fabric has extremely low moisture absorption and a very low coefficient of friction, is self-lubricating, and is highly resistant to abrasion - in some forms being 15 times more resistant to abrasion than carbon steel. It is very resistant to water, moisture, most chemicals, UV radiation, and micro-organisms. So, drag after drag and wash after wash, where others fail to perform in durability and long life Resurgence Gear products perform for extended periods. The fabric has already been field tested internationally and is now is ready for motorbike riders around the world.

About Resurgence
Launched in Canada at the beginning of 2013, Resurgence Gear entered the market with the innovative protective lining material PEKEV for motorcycle jeans, of which was the end result of around ten years material and design research. The team at Resurgence Gear became masters at their craft when they were developing motorcycle jeans for different brands; however, during this period of growth they soon became dissatisfied with the absence of style and substandard levels of protection that those brands were offering. As a result of this Resurgence Gear found themselves on a mission of designing motorcycle clothing that gave the highest level of protection that was both comfortable and stylish to wear.
