Kept my lid dry and secure when out in the rain all day.
Just make sure that the lock chain isn't too big a diameter to fit the sleeve on the helmet bag.

It seems to be good quality. I have been using it on my helmet with a D-Lock through the sissy bar and it works well. I have yet to see what it s like when it rains but fingers crossed.

Just what I was looking for

When I ride to work, I don’t really have anywhere to store my helmet. This oxford lid locker is ideal. My helmet fits in it perfectly and with the ability to chain it to my bike through the visor is great. The only thing that could be an issue is that the Velcro that straps it to the bike isn’t very strong, so when I put my chain through, I need to do it in a way that it takes some of the weight off. Apart from that it is perfect

It’s padded on the inside which my helmet adores and is ‘apparently’ waterproof (not yet tested), but in order for the rain to stay out, you would need to carefully position it once attached to your bike so the small hole that’s left when pulling the cord tight doesn’t face the sky. Easy to do, but forget it and you’ll end up collecting water in your helmet.

OXFORD LID LOCKER

Great product , easily fits a full face lid , gloves and my knee pads. Bought a simple key locked chain , approx 10mm diameter and 1 metre long. Had to release the self coiling action a bit to make it go through the tube that passes in and out of the helmet, but once done makes the operation of the bag really easy. Hang it over the handlebar grip and pass the chain through the fork, I use the pull cord as a second hanging cable over the bars just as an extra bit of strength. Good product.

This unique product finally answers the question: how to leave your helmet with your bike without it getting wet, damaged or stolen?
The helmet remains completely protected from the elements at all times. However, the lock (NOT provided) is threaded down a waterproof tube which runs through the visor aperture and out of the bottom of the helmet so that you can lock it up to the bike. The easiest lock to use is an armoured cable lock (such as an Oxford Revolver), but you could equally use a chain lock or a regular cable lock.
NOTE Bike and lock NOT included.
