Klim Carlsbad Gore-Tex CE Textile Trousers - Cool Grey

Well made, comfortable and sizing is generous.

Excellent construction, use of materials and protective layers.
Easy to adjust to be able to wear "shortie" footwear or full off road boots, very flexible and comfortable off the bike.
Used with a thermal layer underneath will serve well in all UK seasons, and promises to be waterproof.
Sizing needs careful consideration, but was able to try the different sizes at SBS in order to arrive at the correct fit for me.

Kept me bone dry in torrential rain and the vents work very well to moderate temperature when the weather warmed up. I bought the jacket too and that is awesome for the same reasons. However, after one week of use, holes appeared on the inside of both lower legs. Klim says this is wear and tear, but I'm not sure where I am supposed to put my feet other than on the footpegs to avoid this!

Nice quality, as you would expect. Love the jacket but find the trousers too big around the calf. They have fasteners to tighten the fit but it still leaves a lot of free material in the wind. Whereas the jacket is amazing I found the trousers a little disappointing.

Keeps you bone dry when the heavens open but vents well enough to keep you cool when the temperatures rise. Comfortable fit, room for additional layers when temperatures drop, built in protection to protect you in the event of a fall. Material and zippers feel very high quality. What's not to like?

I wanted a pair of loose fit summer trousers for tours in Europe. They had to be laminated with Gortex. First time with Klim kit, great quality worth every penny. I went one size down from usual and they fit fine. They also come in different leg lengths.

These trousers are expensive but you know they are quality Gore-Tex from the off. Make sure you try on before buying as klim sizing tends to be on the large size from my experience. The D30 armour is level 2 so top notch, its also supremely comfortable. I like the knee armour is adjustable so your not constantly shuffling it about. I like loose leg fits with plenty of room for boots and that's exactly what these are.
For some strange reason the jacket to pants fastener can only be accessed from the back at the top which is the oddest thing I've ever come across, making it fiddly but hey ho I'm sure I'll get the knack.
I got caught in a storm of biblical proportions 10 days after I bought the suit. The bum / groin area was slightly damp when I got home so I took them back and sportsbikeshop simply replaced no quibbles, first class service. Any problems further down the line are backed by a lifetime warranty from klim so should last out my usage over the next years.
Venting is useful but not had a chance yet to give it a proper outing in heat.

Excellent service, correct size, very comfortable on the bike, rode through storm with rain of biblical proportions kept me dry & warm, & when the weather changed to very hot & sunny the vents kept me cool, & off the bike because its light wieght was a blessing unlike my mate in his alpinestars suit was hot & sweaty, so it's a well done to Klim & we'll done to Sportsbikeshop for stocking it & fast next day service. A very happy customer thank you.

Only done about 250 miles since purchase but so far so good.
Fabric still a bit crunchy but starting to soften.
Armour is very comfortable and easy to adjust position.
Fit over chunky boots, poppers and elasticated strap to reduce flapping.
Vents are well placed and easy to open and close.
Not cheap, but quality materials throughout and feel reassuringly protective.
I've found them warm enough around 8° but much cooler than that I would be wearing a base layer.

My second Klim Trousers(upgraded from the Kilm Overland)..
No much out there for the same price with so many features. from Gore-Tex, to ceLv2 protection..
Klim produces great motorcycle garments, no matter what "Adventure" means to you.. this Trousers will certainly do!

Excellent light with strong material and goretex with good ventilation fits perfectly
