Richa Softshell Mesh WP Textile Trousers - Black

I purchased a pair of these trousers around a year ago and prior to this year's road trip I removed the zip in waterproof liner to discover that the stitching and tape sealed seam had failed. Sportsbikeshop sent these off to the warranty team at the supplier and after a short delay with the external warranty teams response, a new pair were dispatched in time for my trip. Unfortunately after two wet days I removed the waterproof liner as it was heating up to discover that the same fault had appeared in the waterproof liner. I use a lot of Richa gear and from experience, this quality issue is unusual from my go to brand. Sportsbikeshop sent me return label which I used on my return from the trip and refunded me in full as soon as they received the item as I could no longer risk the same fault appearing in a third pair. The customer service team (Sally and Mark) were fantastic and very helpful with resolving the issue. Sadly, the soft-shell outer pant was probably the most comfortable pair of bike trousers I have ever worn in both hot, wet and cold weather. It's nice to know that when a rare problem crops up due to an issue beyond the Sportsbikeshop team's control, you have the back up of a professional team to resolve the matter quickly. This reassurance means I would happily give the shop a 5 star rating and purchase from Sportsbikeshop again as my first choice supplier.

Great looking trousers, quite a snug fit, but very very comfortable, might not flow as much airflow as some compatible full summer mesh trousers. But still flow a decent amount to keep you cool when the temperature risers. Great for UK temperatures. Going to take them on a trip to Italy next week to see how they cope there with the waterproof liner removed
