I’ve had a number of different trousers over years both textile and leather but these are by far the best I’ve had. Super comfy and a nice relaxed fit with nice meshed ventilation if you need it. Not got them wet yet so can’t comment of waterproofness.

Great value for money

I bought these trousers to match an Oxford jacket that I d bought a couple of weeks before. The trousers are great value for money! They zip to the jackets and have a good range of adjustments. I m 35 waist so the large fit fine around my middle and are good on the leg too despite me being 6ft 2 and having longish legs. My only comment would be that these are a little snug around my gentleman s area which makes it difficult to swing my leg over my Ninja 1100. But I often stand on the foot peg anyway so no big deal. Usual great service from Sportsbikeshop. My go-to destination for anything bike related.

A well equipped pair of trousers from Oxford to replace my vintage Spada kit. Bought these true to size and they fit nicely. If you like them a bit baggier go up a size. A nice touch is the removeable braces which you barely notice are there. Have enough features to satisfy most UK riding . Very happy with my purchase especially as I picked them up at the sale price.
Super service from the Boston team.

Nice pants, large is large..

Stumbled on sbs when looking at the oxford montreal 4.0 pants and to my surprise, it was way cheaper to order them from UK than in my own Country of Canada let alone the US and there crazy tariffs which I now avoid. Fast shipped to my door with no additional charges?. Ordered size large going off of the size chart. Others said to follow the chart or even go up a size. I measured my true waist at 36 which is the top of the range for the large. I normally wear size 32 in regular pants, but I went with the chart fearing that medium wouldn't even botton up, but the large is loose especially on the waist. If I cinch them all the way then they bunch up on the sides. Luckily they have suspenders which work well. If I had it to do over I would order the medium, but now there isn't any available. Also where the liner snaps in place at the bottom was ripped at the seam where the loop is sewn in. The attachment zipper is opposite to my Joe Rocket jacket, but an easy fix. All in all a good deal.

I bought these because they looked really good quality and I wasn’t disappointed. I haven’t had them in the rain yet but I have every confidence that they will keep me warm and dry.

Great trous - go a size up

These are really good, take out the thermal liner and they go over my office trousers perfect for my commute. Suspenders keep drafts out. Best thing the calves have velcro closure, no zips to get caught in the lining and chew it up. As other reviews have said go a size up. Size guide said I should be XL, went 2XL and the fit is perfect.

Tested in the Brecon Beacons

I bought these trousers 2 weeks ago for a trip to the Brecon Beacons in Feb (yes, I know!), expecting rain. Well, they got a full power trial with snow, hail, light rain, torrential rain, lightning storm, drizzle and mizzle. Utterly bone dry and warm throughout. I did think at one point I had sprung a leak but it turns out that was the water gathering on my seat that dropped the temperature in the region but as soon as I stood on the pegs, the water poured off and a quick manual check proved all was well in the boxers. For the price and quality I can’t recommend them highly enough. Good features, very comfortable, warm and dry. Spot on.

Long term review

I commited daily in my previous pair for 3 winters before they leaked. As soon as they failed I bought another pair. I wear them over my work trousers, so haven't used the thermal liner, but not been cold in them.
The bracers are great for preventing drafts around the lower back.

  • Can you please tell me if these trousers have a built in Dry2Dry membrane and is it laminated or a drop liner? Or do they have a separate, removable Dry2Dry waterproof liner?

We can confirm that the Dry2Dry waterproof and breathable membrane is a drop liner. The membrane is not laminated, nor can the waterproof liner be removed from this product.
