Klim Scramble Pak - Grey

I bought this because I got fed up fitting panniers just to pop out for an hour. Most rides I only need somewhere for my wallet, keys, a tyre plug kit and a few bits and pieces, and on the BMW RT i ride, you’re lugging around a lot of storage for nothing quite often.

I’d never really used a waist pack before and assumed it’d annoy me, but after a couple of rides you stop noticing it’s there. It doesn’t flap about and it doesn’t move around when you’re making progress.

Mine lives permanently packed now. Power bank, multitool, torch, puncture kit, cable ties… all the stuff I kinda hope I never need. The separate pockets make it easy to find things rather than tipping everything out onto the floor at the roadside.

The only downside I think is you’ll keep finding something else to put in it. Before you know it you’ve got half a workshop hanging off your waist. That’s definitely a “me” problem though.

Expensive? Yep. It’s Klim. But I’ve used it more than I expected and it’s become one of those bits of kit I automatically grab whenever I’m riding without the panniers.
