AGV Pista GP-RR - Mir 2021

After spending a week or so staring at the helmet with the tags on I actually decided to commit to the purchase. I'm very glad I did. First ride felt like it was in 4k widescreen - It's not often mentioned but the peripheral vision is phenomenal, the race 3 visor is crystal clear also. The check pads felt VERY snug but after a few rides they have become very comfortable. It is most definitely race fit, if you want something comfortable buy Shoei. If you're looking at this helmet I'd say you probably ride a sport bike, so you have already disregarded comfort. Size? I would highly recommend going instore. It doesn't exactly slip on to your head easily but bear in mind this is a track helmet not a pretty hat. Having said that have you seen the styling on this thing!?

Bought the week before I used it and crashed at Aragon. Helmet held up fairly well and looked the part but left me with a bad concussion and bruising on my crown of my head despite fitting spot on.

However, as always, couldn't fault the service of SportsBikeShop at all.

Really impressed with quality of this helmet, although it's expected for the price. It's a very focused (track riding) helmet but again, as per reviews and therefore expected. Vision is good, comfort acceptable (not played with extra pads provided yet), it's nice and light and I like the design. Very happy, if not a little light in the pocket! This is me coming from a top range Shoei to compare with (think Shoei is slightly better but not enough to stray away from a design that you like) Enjoy.

I bought the AGV pista gp rr after some deliberation. Top end helmet and quite expensive, but absolutely worth the extra money. The quality is great, the weight and fit is perfect, and it really does feel like wearing something luxurious. Peripheral visibility is improved from the corsa, it's very light and roomy, and the air flow is so good, but not adjustable while riding, plugs are provided. I haven't thought twice about the cost since I started wearing it and I'm glad I spent the extra on it. Looks wise, one of the nicest helmets I have seen. Really does feel like a track worthy lid and I'm so happy with it. Anything that improves my riding experience is worth spending that little extra on, still waiting for the missus to ask how much it was ;)

Can't complain about these Pista GP RR helmets. Absolutely love the iridium edition. Helmets snug and the materials used for the inside is amazing. The way it caresses your face. Amazing. The wind noise isn't bad. But it is a track orientated helmet. Not really a street helmet. So again can't complain about anything. Pin lock visors included. As any visor will fog up quickly. But get moving and it all disappears. Again track helmet. You won't get that issue on track. Aerodynamics are amazing. On the motorway it feels really good, considering my last AGV was the corsa R. Huge differences between the models of helmets. You really do get the extra that you are paying for. Considering these Pista GP RR's are some of the most expensive lids. You really do get something amazing for what you paid for. Yes some say you're paying for the brand, and the VR46 exclusivity but in my honest opinion you're paying for a high italian performing safety equipment for your head. 100% worth it.

Brilliant helmet, looks so cool, very light, so light in fact I thought the box was empty when it was delivered.
Aerobics on it work really well, does not move or push on head at speed and I didn't noisy at all.
Straught out of the box it fitted well, tryed a extra pad in the back and was ok, and that's one of, I my opinion one of only negative points ,I would say it has to much adjustment, it can be a bit mind boggling.... Oh and yeah if your riding in winter you may find it a bit on the cool side.

This helmet is so amazing! Got it to join my Corsa R Guy Martin edition, and this is such another awesome helmet from AGV.
Incredibly comfortable, easy to change round the padding, not as noisy as made out to be, but does have earplugs included in with the helmet. Drink tube is easy to use and so versatile too. Made very well and so beautiful to look at, so worth the money!

Fantastic helmet! very comfy, yet snug. Miles ahead of the corsa R fit wise. No tight spots when wearing it. The best looking helmet in my opinion. The additional padding is a great idea to fine tune the fittment along with the adjustable crown.
Overall very pleased and is even better than what I expected.

After weeks of convincing myself I bit the bullet and bought the Pista GP-RR in glossy carbon and it was so worth it! Incredibly light, amazing looks, a helmet well done! Comes with loads of extras. The highest quality helmet I've ever owned.

I feel like Valentino Rossi!

The helmet wasn't my first choice due to the price tag but after trying the Pista GP-R I opted for the RR. For the extra money its well worth it. Best helmet! Its SO unbelievably light. Its really comfortable when on and the extra pads provided gives and option for extra padding. While riding with the helmet its so quiet and can hardly hear any wind noise.Can't recommend this helmet enough.
