Forcefield GTech Shirt Level 2 Base Layer - Long Sleeved Shirt

With the onset of a hot Summer, I found I needed a chest, back, elbow and shoulder protection system that I could then wear with just a shirt on top. This was for off road trail riding use normally, but this year saw me enter the Welsh 2 Day enduro for the first time since doing it 40 years ago in 1985. So I took the recommendation of a fellow trail rider who said this was all day comfortable and bought this as a Summer substitute. So, I managed to complete the event with the first day seeing sweltering heat up to 28 degrees! The vest just performed perfectly with the main shirt part just wicking away the sweat and most importantly the protection staying where it needed to be throughout the day! Several falls over the hard two day going saw it do it's job. The armour is strong and flexible especially when it warms up to your body heat. I had to change my first one as it was too small at a medium. I'm about 12st 5 and 5ft 5" with a 42 inch chest and a large was the best fit as the vest part is quite a tight garment. Easy to wash and dries really quick. Can't
recommend it enough!

Bought this to go with match bottoms as I am going to start off-roading. Fit was spot on and it feels very reassuring and all the pads stay in place. Quality kit.

I now wear this both for off road riding and road riding. It is soft and comfy. I take out the chest armour unless I am doing more intense off road riding. I barely notice it is there.

It is warm and works as a base layer (tested in 5C UK weather). Haven't tried wearing this in hotter climates.

Fell off my bike a few times off road. Shoulders and elbows are very padded so didn't feel a thing. Jumped back up on the bike.

I like that it is fairly long and the back protector is longish. The top goes over on the outside of my trousers. I tried stuffing the top inside my trousers but there's a lot of material so things get scrunched up and I look like I have a huge belly.
