Really nicely made helmet , great idea of flip over . I ride with an i90 flip front which on a long ride gets heavy & effects the neck. This is heavier , sat wearing one night at home & felt it after 30mins or so . Great helmet everything right just wants to be lighter by about 500g plus .

It was a great experience to be able to try on so many different helmets, to ensure I found the right one. This helmet is comfortable, well made, fits like a glove - the shop having all sizes in all types of helmets, so I was able to with advice from staff, find the perfect fit. Very happy with my purchase.

Really good features, seems sturdy and reasonably well made. Unfortunately the first one i had leaked water through the visor seal, was replaced without issue though.
Good ventilation, good sun visor, and the flip over is really easy to use.

The concept of a dual position chin bar is genius, but from my experience, about 6 months/3000 miles, the operation is not seamless. Overall I like the helmet but changing the chin bar position on the move is a mug's game, even at low speed. On a couple of occasions the bar jammed across my eye line. Something wasn't right and the helmet had to go back for repair to the visor. So, provided you're disciplined enough not the change the chin bar position on the hoof here's what I think: (R1200GS LC TE & Triumph Speed 400) I truely love the open face option at low speeds. At motorway speeds with the chin bar down aerodynamics are good and noise attenuation is accepetable. I find the helmet comfortable and the space for my Sena earphones ample (unlike my Shark spare helmet). Ventilation is adequate - just!. Glad I bought it? Yes.

Great helmet. Quieter than I expected. Very comfortable and excellent quality. The flip up function is easy to use as is the internal visor after a little practise. The ventilation from the front and top openings is very effective. Excellent customer service in store at Milton Keynes.

The helmet is lovely, true to size. I'm a small and wear glasses; I have no problem getting my glasses on and off. I love the colours and style. The internal sun visor is very handy. Good comfy helmet, a bit noisy but that is to be expected with a flip over. Be aware that the foam that covers the intercom speaker can easily fall out, mine fell out when I took it off on my 1st ride out, it was lucky that someone saw it beside my bike as we were leaving because I hadn't noticed it missing.

This is very comfortable, not too heavy and well made. I made the right choice with this.

Like the flip front a fact it goes right back, lining feels good, all in all for the price think its hard to beat

Had to buy this helmet as my previous one was too big. When I bought my previous helmet I was told I was a medium and was told the helmet was a good fit, although the shop owner didn’t try to move it about etc to check. I went to SBS with a friend who needed a new helmet and after watching him get fitted for his I realised mine wasn’t the correct size so asked if the shop assistant would check for me. The shop assistant was more than happy to do so and informed me it was far too big. In the end I needed an XS. The helmet was checked for size by him holding the chin bar while I tried to move my head etc to make sure there wasn’t any movement that shouldn’t be there. I did have a problem with a broken clip on the chin vent after less than a week but SBS exchanged it for a new one without any hassle at all! All around great service from SBS!

As far as the quality of this helmet goes, it looks great which I know is a concern to a lot of bikers. It is a little louder than some helmets on the market but that’s to be expected with a modular helmet but it’s really not too noisy at all. It’s clearly well built and made with quality materials. It’s extremely comfortable even after wearing it for hours and is a nice snug fit on my head which makes me confident in its protection. The vents work well and keep my head cool, especially the vent on the top of the head as I can feel a nice breeze coming through when it’s open. I’d definitely be happy to recommend this helmet and SBS.
