HJC i100 - Beis Black

Great versatility. Good weather sun visor and no chin guard. Bad weather can all be sealed up.

Wanted a different colour but the one I wanted felt like there was something pushing hard next to my temple, though they were the same size.
The red and black combination turned out perfect.
I love the flip over style!

I walked in had a look around and needed a new helmet and decided to purchase said helmet and the people on the till were excellent in their knowledge and very warm and welcoming.

Very comfortable and robust at this price point. I had it for 7 months now and it did really well in heavy rain and cold weather. My head measures 59cm so I got L which fits perfectly, but I had to replace the cheek pads for 2XL (15mm), as the ones that come with helmet (25mm) were too tight for me. It's not the quietest one, but it's a modular helmet and I use earplugs anyway.

Fantastic helmet, looks the part, easy to operate and seems sturdy enough. Also has plenty of space for intercom kit. It does unfortunately suffer from being very loud at motorway speeds but that's to be expected with a modular helmet!

I have to admit that I tried this helmet on somewhere else before ordering here and the medium I usually have felt fine so ordered one which came the next day and was amazed how uncomfortable it felt and my spectacles did'nt sit right and after 20 minutes wearing it indoors I had to remove it so took the advice of others and returned it for a large (Thanks to SBS for easy return) which was a perfect fit.I can only think that the original one I tried on had worn with people trying it on. So go for a size larger than normal.
This is my third HJC helmet IS MAX II and I90 both of which leaked in the rain and let bugs in somehow in the summer and never knew how.
Only done just over 100 miles so far in this helmet and felt fine but not tested in rain yet so may come back with an update.

I bought a helmet on line which ended up a bit tight. Visited the Norwich store, the staff were excellent nothing was too difficult for them, everyone was super helpful. They made the task of changing the helmet effortles.
My first purchase but definitely not my last. Well done to the Norwich staff.

The HJC i100 is a Stylish helmet , the controls/ switches are easily worked for the Flip-up chin guard , vents and tinted sun visor , it arrives with a Pinlock clear visor included and has a smooth matt finish to the outer Advanced Polycarbonate shell .

The not so good is ; It's slightly heavy in weight and the inside padding doesn't have much give with it for the on & off in use , it seems to be a quite tough inside padding which is fine when actually wearing but does not flex enough , as my normal size of helmet could not fit & had to be returned to exchange for the next size larger .

I originally ordered a medium but it was far too tight, even though I’m normally a medium, changed without any trouble ( as is the normal with such a great business like Sportsbikeshop) the lid is extremely comfortable and fits my head in a stable and cushioned fashion, the chin guard moves 180 degrees and sits well at the rear, no buffering from the wind, great internal sun visor and the pin lock system works excellently , the air con chin and head works well to keep head and face cool when fully closed, an excellent lid in great colours at an exceptional price, highly recommended !

Bought this helmet with £100 off the original price. It's an excellent fit and very comfortable. I love the flip on the helmet going all the way to the back which you can lock into place if you want to, also the visor automatically comes down after it's flipped back. It also comes with a pinlock. I think it's a great purchase.

Wanted to try a flip up, especially as you can ride with it open. Early days but build quality not bad but not as good as my old GT Air. Slightly noisy but no issue with earplugs. Is heavier but don’t really notice that in use. Very good for the price
