First off, great speedy service by Sportsbikeshop.co.uk. Arrived on time and well packaged. The helmet is light, comfortable, great vision, visor is extremely clear without any distortion. The drop down sun visor is effective. I bought the helmet because I like the added visibility open face helmets give, ideal when cruising around and exploring new areas. Being a wearer of glasses it was important that they would be comfortable whilst wearing the helmet and not be interfered with by the visors, which this helmet allows. The helmet shell is a little on the large size, but with the integral sun visor and the clear visor that is acceptable. The only thing I do not like , which is common on most modern helmets, is the cavities they leave inside around the ears so blue tooth devices can be installed, this makes the helmets noisier than needed and allows for draft/less snug fit. If blanks were supplied to fill these voids for those of use who do not wish to be connected to the outside world when riding that would improve this helmet immensely. I always wear ear plugs when riding , but still notice that these voids allow more wind noise to be transmitted. Otherwise very pleased with the helmet.

Great offer price and as a vintage motorcycle club member it fits easily over glasses and hearing aids light weight eases strain on neck great visor and dark visor also easy to use.

I love the full face visor and the flip down sun visor. My glasses slip on very easily and there is no uncomfortable pressure on the ears. It feels solid and secure when riding, with no movement at all. I feel safe and comfortable wearing it.

Well I tried out my new open face helmet. All I can say is, it's marvellous 100% spot on, just what I wanted.
70+ A1 and it's not as noisy as the full face one, doesn't lift and doesn't push down, even turning your head to check blind spots it was, completely neutral.
Visibility, you can't see any of the edges of the shell and the visor is 100% optically clear. It actually feels like you don't have a helmet on.

Really impressed with this, and the speed it took to deliver as well Ordered on a Sunday evening and I got it on the Tuesday. What I hadn't realised was theres an in built sun-visor which is really helpful. Its a great priced well, fitting comfortable open helmet and matches to my bike colours perfectly, previously a white KTM Dike and also my black KTM 790 Adventure. Brilliant.

Comes darker than the photos, but I like the helmet, it's true to size, has a internal sun visor and a large clear visor which keeps most of the wind off. It's comfy and lightweight, and I would say it's good value.

Bought the I40 for use in and out of work, very comfortable and sizing from HJC is spot on, my head comes in the higher side of 56, this is my second HJC and their medium is a good fit, will be a very good summer lid with the addition of the sun visor, great visibility -I ride a Vstrom 650 with high screen and this I40 dose a good job holding out that buffering thunder

I bought this for my wife who prefers an open face as she feels a bit claustrophobic in a full face.
It was comfortable right out of the box, light weight and has a clear visor to stop the bugs etc. the colour and finish are that of a more expensive helmet and the sun visor is a bonus.
For the price it is an excellent buy.

Cannot rate this helmet highly enough. Fits perfectly and doesn't hurt around my ears. Absolutely brilliant. Sports Bike Shop had it for the cheapest price I could find and delivery was super quick. Very pleased overall with the whole transaction.
