News The tyre company who changed wet riding forever release their latest shot at sports-touring genius... the Michelin Road 6
Seems to be a good tyre, I have done 4k on the rear and still got some life left in it, good in the wet, surprised at how they haven't squared off so the multi compound does actually work.
Good for all weather riding
Good grip. Can't say too much as only used it for couple weeks.
Excellent service as ever, cannot fault in any way
Good Tyre & great service
Excellent tyres. They came earlier than expected and are like glue on the road
Great tyre and exceptional delivery from sportsbikeshop as always
I purchased a pair of Mitchelin Road 6 front and rear and just written the review for the rear which will be the same for the front.
From my experience a tyre will perform better on some bikes and not on others. I have a new Kawasaki Z900RS and couldn't wait to replace the tyres it came with. I researched various tyres and the conclusion was the Mitchelin Road 6, and what a transformation. Have ridden 350 miles so far and they are perhaps the best I have ever had. Cornering excellent, no tracking reinstatements in the road like tram lines. Their cushioning effect over bumps is good. I have yet to try them in the wet and looking at the tread pattern and sipes am expecting a good performance.
Cost price is fairly high but they are a premium tyre.
