Knox Hot Hood Balaclava - Black

If you like a tight balaclava and not breathing through your mouth, then this is the one for you.
It's tight and as a result, sits almost flat against the mouth, so that when you breathe in, you're sucking the fabric and pretty much suffocating yourself as there are no mouth holes/vents, only nose ones.
The balaclava is definitely warm, but it's super tight in all the wrong places. It's also quite short on the back and sides of the neck meaning wind can get down it. The picture is misleading as it definitely doesn't sit like that when you wear it - more bunchy and higher up on the chest, but this would obviously be different if you shorter than 6ft 4in.
If you have a helmet size of medium or larger, avoid this as it'll be a nightmare to get on and off.

Great piece of kit. Warm around the neck with different material to allow breathing for head. No pressure points when wearing under the helmet. Great product.

Another quality product from Knox with a premium feel. I've owned a lot a balaclavas trying to find the perfect fit and this has it all. Flat seems, one piece so it doesn't end up getting pulled off your face when you put your helmet on, not too thick but warm, keeps the cold and wet off your neck, breathable mesh over your nose and mouth. Highly recommend!
