Changed my mind about layering

This jacket changed my mind about the layering system of protection.
The main jacket is comfortable and has good ventilation for the warmer days without the other layers. Slightly chilly or wet put the waterproof layer on (it stores perfectly in the back pouch). In winter just add the thermal layer.
The thermal layer also attaches directly into the waterproof layer to provide a warm destination jacket as well.
The only reason for only giving four stars is the waterproof layer is mainly black, the yellow being under your arms and inside the arms. Why are waterproofs, used in lower light conditions black?

Great design, lots of pockets and the lighter colour {and green stripes} add to my visibility, especially when compared to the all black clothing I had before. Be aware that the sizing is on the small side. I usually go for an M and the jacket that I ended up with is XL!
