These Badland trousers from klim a fantastic addition to anyone's wardrobe if they want a well thought out airy, secure and safe trousers. With a level three safety rating and body armour. The quality of the garment is fantastic when you put them on you feel really like you put on a really good trouser. I look forward to many days riding in these trousers.

Expensive but worth every pound

Tested in rain and cold weather (7C) - and they performed great keeping me warm and dry.
The fabric on Pro A3 version is a bit stiff, and make a wee bit of noise while walking.
Size wise - keep in mind that they are baggy compared to European brands, and the main reason is due to them needing room to accommodate knee braces. Plenty adjustment available for the waist to best suit your comfortability thanks to the velcro straps. Also the straps below the knees do a great job to keep the knee armour in place.
Ventilation is good but keep in mind that older model doesn't have vent zips at the shin.

Brilliant protection, lacking in stretch

These trousers are great - really adjustable, loads of pockets, really high quality - the only thing to be aware of is that because of the fabric and the pockets and zips they are not as flexible as some other trousers so make sure your riding position works in them. I found them fine but notice the resistance when getting on the bike

Stupid expensive but good
Scratchy so you need to be wearing base layers. Unbelievably even at this price braces or suspenders as Klim call them are another £40. But these actually feel like protection not just thermal trousers
