I have some very heavy jeans with body armour and are lined, they that need strong braces.
These braces do an amazing job at keeping my them in the right place for the knee pads both on and of the bike, strap tensioning is minimal and I think that is the one of the reasons they work so well..
The wide straps make the braces very comfortable to wear and since I set the lengths to suit me they have never moved or needed any further adjustment which I think is important in braces.
They are quite plain to look at though they do a great job at what they are designed for.
These braces are excellent value and work for me, would certainly recommend them.

I have had various braces over the years, and inevitably the stresses and strains of keeping my leather trousers up as I stretch and lean has been too much for the gripping clamps. These, however, are big and strong enough to keep everything in place. The metal clamps are thick enough to resist bending ( a common fault with other braces) and the ‘spring’ tight enough to grip onto the leather and resist slipping. A good, inexpensive solution to that annoying gap between trousers and non-matching jacket.

I use these heavy-duty braces with my DXR leather riding trousers, and they’ve been excellent. Comfortable to wear, impressively robust, and built to last. The metal clips grip like hell — once they’re on, they’re on. No slipping, no adjusting mid-ride. A proper solution if you want your trousers to stay exactly where they should, without compromising comfort.

These are a good set of braces which replaced the Oxford ones I needed to return. Those clasps were plastic and one kept springing off. These are metal clasps on the bike it, and are much better.

Firstly big man size clips fitted that mean that they can deal with the suspended weight of leather trousers. Wide banding to distribute weight across the shoulders. Good looking comfortable and very well made. Another pleasing purchase. Choice of colours to suit your kit/mood.

Needed braces with jaws big enough to fit o to thick leather waistband but still be able to clamp firmly closed and not ping off as soon as I get into a racing crouch. These do the trick perfectly - and because they straps are wide and not too stretchy, they remain comfortable all day. Definitely going to leave these on my leathers and buy another pair to keep on my textiles
