Merlin Jura Hydro D3O Leather Gloves - Black / Earth

Quality, well made short gloves. Wrist fasteners secure but not bulky. Loop makes putting them on easy. Nice fit under my jacket cuff. Modern but somewhat retro look and style. Good protection on back of hands and fingers. Reinforced palms. Very comfortable and flexible when riding. May be a bit warm in peak summer and not warm enough for the heart of winter but should cover the bulk of most people's riding season! Haven't tested their waterproofing yet. I'd also say they seem slightly smaller made than other XL gloves I have by other manufacturers.

Great fit. Allows you to wear with leather jackets. Other gloves seem to battle to fit over or under a leather jacket sleeve, these slip comfortably under the long jacket sleeve.

I bought these as I was fed up with longer cuff gloves and the difficulty getting them under jacket sleeves. These gloves are quite short, not too thick but thick enough for some winter riding. I use them in combination with Tucano Urbano muffs, so it's nice to have a glove with more feel than chunkier winter gloves.
They're a smart pair, I love the colour and they feel like they would offer protection if the worst happened.
My only gripe is the knuckle armour. It feels very well made, but it's a solid bit of material and doesn't seem to flex, so it can restrict your hand movement a bit. Nothing drastic, but I thought it would bed in over time, however it has not.
Sizing seems accurate, the fit is good. They work well with sat navs, too.
I would recommend these gloves to anyone looking for a shorter/lightweight pair of gloves that can still be worn during the cooler months. Very smart!
