Brilliant all year round Commuting jacket

I'm kicking myself I didn't buy this sooner and save money. This jacket from Merlin is probably the go to all year round jacket if you commute ride or go for a clear day bike ride. It's very warm in the colder days and the waterproofing is phenomenal. Plus the fashion side when you are off the bike is great. Great pockets. Great Hood which is detachable. Plenty of adjustment . Good armour. You can upgrade it. Very easy to clean and maintain. Excellent price point. Excellent SBS service as usual. British made product one can't go wrong.

The Flare jacket is an ultra-technical and clean, urban riding jacket. The clean and sharp appearance is fashionable and not too moto-centric for on and off the bike appeal. The soft brushed polyester outer has been both treated with a DWR and a laminated side with a high performance 8k/5k waterproof and breathability rating. D30® shock absorbing Level 1 armour is pre-fitted to the shoulders and elbows with space in the back for an optional D3O® Viper protector. The Flare jacket can be worn all year round with waterproofing, removable thermal insulation, ventilation and 3M safety reflective.
