These boots do have a decent elevated sole, I tippy toe on my bike now with these boots it's flat foot on both sides!! So for us shorties out there, just get these! You won't regret it!

These alpinestars boots are fantastic, the leather is really soft, the fit is what I would consider true to size. They're also really breathable and look so neat on the feet. I've been accused of wearing fashion boots on the bike while wearing these so if you want stealth bike kit that looks nice off the bike but still safe these are the one.
