Merlin Kingsbury D3O Leather Jacket - Black

Brilliant leather jacket in very thick full grain leather. Can double up as a casual garment too. Great price atmas on run out. Get it while you can. Fit is exact get larger if you want to wear a jumper underneath. I only want mine for summer so fit is good. This D30 BTW with pads, which I took out. Quality.

Well made leather jacket, great design, AAA rating, shoulder and elbow protectors pre-fitted, no back protector but there is a pocket for one,
size for me came up on the small side, normally have a 3XL but went for a 4XL, The only thing I would of liked to see is zips on the two bottom pockets, the two top zips are only for air vents and the only secure pocket is inside the jacket itself, one in the removable thermal has one poper, the one inside the jacket has a zip. and if you register on merline website you get extra years warranty making it 2 years.

The good : Nice thick leather, long sleeves, feels good when worn. Vents will come handy in summer. The quality feels outstanding.
The bad: only one elbow-deep pocket on the inside of the chest, that's it. Side pockets have no zipper or at least a popper to keep things safely in when out and about. Zips that are there are on the stiff side but time and beeswax will loosen tem up. Shame the zips dont have the dangly grabby thingies to help when wearing gloves. Also not a diasaster, I will make my own out of leather scraps.

In general this jacket looks good and feels good when worn. I like it very much and i can definitely live with minor details I wish were different.

Great quality product which is true to size torso wise. I have found the arm length is far too long which i find a common problem with most leather jackets. I bought this while on sale and I am having the arms professionally altered.
