Was hard to choose between this or the Brody but went for the Carter in the end as it comes with a back protector. Armour is almost unnoticeable and very comfortable. Initially I thought the open pockets were more style than function but I have found them very useful for stashing non valuables or sunglasses keys etc when off the bike. Room for phone in inside pocket. I did find the neck a little tight with top popper fastened when using a thin neck tube but the inner zip comes up far enough to allow you to leave it open without causing a flap. I’m a 38 chest and found the small just a little too snug. The overall cut is on the slim side so a M gave me just a bit more room. Definitely a warm weather garment but not as effective as a mesh jacket for the hottest of days.
