Oxford Barkston D2D Waterproof Textile Jacket - Khaki

A good all-round Jacket, especially for the money. Worth the extra £20 for the laminate waterproofing. The pockets are not waterproof so don't store phones or paper in them.

I tried on several jackets and found most to be a poor fit and uncomfortable. My wife picked out this jacket it fitted perfect and was instantly comfortable- it felt like a second skin. I have only used the jacket on my bike for a short ride and it feels as comfortable on the bike as off the bike, it’s warm. Not ridden in the rain yet but I would definitely recommend it.

Good fit and proving cool in the summer. Yet to use in cold or wet weather.

The jacket feels light and comfortable. Very good wind protection. Easy to use pockets. Fits as expected for the size although its arms length are on the longer end. Which is good for me when riding but may not suit others. Have not used in rain. Very glad for this purchase and the buying experience from Sweden

Brilliant jacket with all the features you could need. Very high spec, and at £150 on offer from Sportsbikeshop, you can't really go wrong. Looks great too - on and off the bike. Well done SBS - another great purchase.

I know its designed for urban riding, but I wear it predominantly for blasts out round my local B roads and love it. I like the classic styling but also the inclusion of practical touches. I have been out in a damp 4ºc ('feels like' -1ºc) with appropriate base and mid layers and the thermal insert and my core temperature was not a concern (wish I could say the same for my fingers). I've also been out in around 18ºc with the liner removed and the vents open and also no complaints. I imagine it would be a bit stuffy in 22ºc + but haven't had the pleasure to test that yet.

It is pretty boxy (or at least on me- tall and slim) but I'm only pottering along on my air cooled thumper so limited chance of it flapping around, especially layered up for winter.

Only thing to note is the sleeves are quite long. If you are stockier they might be a bit excessive, but at least you're assured decent coverage when riding.

Had this on my saved list for ages, when it came up in the sale, didn't hesitate because I've been caught out before, thinking about it. Great Jacket at this price, went out about 6° for a couple of hours, bright but cold, Marino base layer a fleece and this jacket didn't feel cold at all. Fantastic stuff from Sportsbike as usual.
