My front wheel fell within the stated parameters but my bike nearly did too from this stand, i.e. fell !!!! At best it will just hold or should I say balance the bike, I wouldn't like the wind to blow or a child to be near the bike when it is in this stand. An expensive misguided purchase.

The one piece construction wheel chock provides excellent stability of motorcycles in storage or transit. The side plates are adjustable and lockable to a maximum width of up to eight inches. For use in several locations an optional quick release base plate is available, enabling the wheel chock to be removed quickly and easily, ideal if the chock is to be used inside a vehicle. The quick release plate can be bolted to any fixed surface via the four fixing locations (fitting not supplied), the wheel-chock simply connected by one bolt-fitting.
