Keis Heated Inner Gloves
Customer Product Reviews
Keis Heated Inner Gloves
Keep your hands warm for say two hours. If you were a regular commuter it would be worth taping the supply leads inside your jacket. Remember that you need to allow for the thinkness of these gloves when choosing outer gloves obviously. Shop people as helpful as ever.
Winter riding is no longer a pain
Brilliant. Used with the heated vest , directly connected. Just gives enough to prevent chilled fingers. May be more versatile if you get the battery or even the heated outer, more expensive though. Only thing is that it's bit thick so regular gloves became tight.
Comortable and Very handy
These glove inners are really nice quality and well made being comfortable to wear the heat output is just right, high quality connectors make for easy plug ins. The vest/body warmer leads should come with them at this price as I feel it makes them a little expensive. Overall though I like them as I can. Use them with any of my gloves including summer ones a great well made product.
Frozen fingers now just a memory
Early morning commute is only about 20 minutes. Haven't had these very long and used only a couple of times so far. But I already know just how good they are. Kept my hands at just the right temperature when it was around 2C outside. They don't give off a lot of heat, but then I wouldn't want them to. I just want hands and fingers that are warm enough not to distract me when driving and these seem to be just the job. Appear to be very well constructed too.
Initially ordered the wrong sized gloves but excellent customer service enabled me to swap for smaller size with exceptionally fast turn around. The gloves themselves are excellent quality keeping my hands toastie warm I did worry that they would be too hot as no temp control provided but is an additional extra. They can be a bit of a faff to put on and must remember to connect to the wire running through the arms of your jacket before putting them on. Overall well pleased with the gloves and ready for the winter riding without frozen fingers.
Good quality but not warm
You can tell that these gloves are very well made and use high quality materials, however the main function of the glove is disappointing. You can hardly feel the heat these gloves give off and mostly just act as another thermal layer for your hands.
I bought these as I have found heated grips do not really work for me. So far they have done the job expected but I haven't tried them at very low temps yet. I suffer from Raynaud's at anything around 10 deg or below and they have stopped this so far.
Just what I needed
These are great - just the right amount of heat to let you know they work and keep the chill away from your hands, without feeling like your fingers are burning hot. I use these with the accessory plug lead and as long as you remember to unplug before you get off the bike there are no issues.
Best piece of bike kit I have bought in years
Omg. Where have these been all my life. Easy to fit to the bike and wires into the jacket. May take a bit of getting used to unclipping each time I get off. But the fact my fingers are warm when riding fast is a life changer for me. I wish I had bought XS. The quality of the gloves is brilliant. Fast delivery. Fantastic value for money.
Good for Raynauds
Got these for my wife, she suffers from Raynauds. The heat from them is not like my Gerbing XR-12 which I use (BRILIANT BTW) it's background heat, which is enough to control the Raynauds. To her they have made a massive difference, fitting to the bike couldn't be easier, and you feel the heat as soon as you connect the gloves. For sizing I got a Small which are still slightly big for her. Ideally XS would be better but there are none of those. She has had to use a pair of my gloves until we buy some new ones as all her gloves are quite fitted and these do not fit underneath, all in all very good product, but you wouldn't want to ride across Alaska with them. As usual excellent service from SBS.
I am very pleased with the quality of the gloves. They work well with my summer gloves to allow good feel in cold weather. The heat is gentle but enough so that my hands didn't get cold. The cables are a faff but the connections are secure and well made.
Just the right amount of heat
I ride most of the year but found the bikes I ride without hand guards mean you end up with cold fingers from the windchill. Heated grips help but they only heat the palms and inside. These mean I can now have even heat, front and inside grip, too. They plugged straight into my Keis heated jacket sleeve cables but I also tried them direct onto an Optimate lead using the Keis additional cable. Doesn't seem to be a problem not having the jacket's temperature selector. Main problem for me is to try and find a larger pair of outer gloves to go over these inners. Even 2XL seem on the tight size and I don't have particularly large hands. Not many glove makers seem to make the largest sizes.
Gentle warmth with a bit of fuss
The gloves are comfy with an accurate size guide, a bit of a squeeze in my normal gloves but work well adding a gentle warmth. The biggest challenge is routing and securing the cables in your jacket but plenty of cable length. Better than heated grips in my experience!
