Schuberth E1/C3 SC10UA Bluetooth Communication System
Customer Product Reviews
Keep in touch
This comms system is perfect for the Schuberth C3 helmet. Easy to install into the helmet and really neat. Simple instruction for pairing with phone and GPS and the SC10 is easy to use. One small issue is having to raise visor to use buttons but easily sorted with remote control. Very good all round comms system.
The device seems to be squared off at the back of the E1 rather than rounded off which can catch the bottom of the head, noticeable on long journeys it leaves an indentation. Still trying to balance left and right speaker even after resetting, the Schuberth app that accompanies this device doesn't appear to have an equalizer.
Thankfully we have YouTube
An impressive piece of equipment. Fitted it to my Schuberth E1 and it works great. I stream the radio through my phone instead of through the device as some have said it's not too good. I used to use the old BassBusters many years ago but that was before the age of Bluetooth so this is a revelation in both sound quality and connectivity. I would have preferred to have a device with a detachable battery but, it seems this doesn't so I guess once the battery reaches the end of its serviceable life the kit will need to go back to the manufacturer or in the bin. The fitting instructions are not intuitive, in fact they're rubbish. For a high class German manufacturer I'd have expected more but, YouTube has some easy to follow demonstrations so no harm done. SBS are the current leaders in customer service and delivery is prompt and hassle free. Cheers.
This is easy to fit and is very neat. The difficult thing about fitment was reattaching the poppers on the C3 Pro. Connecting to various devices is ok but a bit cumbersome using the buttons, much easier if the app could do it. Once set up however, it is very good.
Fitted to C3 pro.
Easy to fit with slight mod to aerial as the popper would not engage, the sound is great Bluetooth from iPhone, radio is c*ap I have not been able to find anything using the app.I have not been out on the bike with it yet as weather is so bad.
Ok but difficult to fit
Even after referring to the numerous videos on-line it took me well over an hour to fit. All pictures and videos show the antenna as a flat strip and my SC10 had a stubby cylindrical antenna. Very difficult to get in place as the C3 helmet lining stud was reluctant to engage. In terms of performance I've tried it indoors with ear plugs in and the volume seems adequate although, as someone else commented, there's no easy way to adjust the satnav volume - but I'll see how it goes. The fit is fine BTW and I don't notice it's there. 3 stars because, for the price, I hoped it would be easier to fit and use. Great service from SBS though!
I bought this intercom for a Schuberth C3 Basic. I've bought my helmet to be a snug fit, and found it a tight squeeze once the intercom was fitted, and the battery rubs against the back of my neck. The aerial didn't fit in the part of my helmet it was supposed to fit in. The button combinations are complicated, I couldn't get the radio to stay on a station and after a week it started cutting out in one speaker. Also found the Bluetooth connection to a iPhone 6 tended to cut in and out. Returning it.
Perfect addition to the Schubert E1
I didn't go with the SRC neck mounted communicator for my newly purchased E1 as I find the buttons a little fiddly but plumped for this SC10U instead and am very pleased with it. It has all the functions my old Sena 20S had but in a smaller form factor, integrated into the helmet and the control buttons inside the visor opening to the lhs of the chin bar are easy to access. With nothing sticking out on the side anymore wind noise is also reduced substantially which is another plus. Top quality kit.
