Forma Adventure Boots - Black
Customer Product Reviews
These boots were bought to replace my old Black pair that had been used constantly for nearly 5 years. I was so pleased with the quality and comfort as well as the waterproof properties, I couldn't have gone for a different pair. Just to be different this time, I decided on the brown pair. Same quality feel And I expect the same longevity.
Love the boots but QC failed on this pair
The fit was brilliant for me and I really my whole lower leg felt very well protected. (Both a first in my current search for new boots.) Unfortunately QC failed and there was a glitch in the toe end of the left boot. Such a shame as this, along with the plastic buckles meant I returned this product.
New bike, new boots
Bought these based on reviews and Ride Best Buy tag. Not disappointed. Followed reviewers' advice on size, I'm UK 9.5 and ordered 45's, and also found going up the gears difficult changing from slimmer, flat soled boots. After about 50 miles decided not to adjust the shifter. 200 miles now and much more comfortable. The boots are comfortable to wear, easy to adjust and put on, and I prefer the heel over a flat soled boot for walking. Like the look and the quality so pretty happy with the purchase.
Forms Adventure Boots
Great Boots, thick chunky soles and very good waterproof membrane. No issues with gear change or braking on my GS. Straps on the boots easy to open and close. Go a size up from normal to give you a little extra toe room. Delivery as always prompt and updates on delivery and dispatch.
Super looking and very comfy
Love these boots. They look superb and fit really well although i found 1/2 size bigger was enough for me whereas some people go a whole size up. They're not heavy for their size and just look the business. They feel very comfortable on as well. Can't wait to put some miles on these. Ride winners as well so you can't go wrong.
I take a UK 12 which translates to a 47 but with these boots I had to get a 49! (boots worn with Thorlo Light hiking socks). The boots are well lined inside with a substantial inner footbed. I found them easy to get on and off with the ski bindings and velcro top band. The bindings are micro adjustable which was a nice surprise. There is a large range of adjustment to get them just right and for when the leather get's softer. I would suggest to set the bindings slightly slack for the first few runs out as too tight will give an unfair impression of the fit until the leather loosens up. These boots fit my leg, calf and ankle profile perfectly. I can't comment on the gear change as my bike has DCT but I did initially worry about being able to feather the back brake due to the thickness of the sole and lack of 'feel', but after a few rides it soon becomes familiar, even with my big feet. The soles are not at all slippy in the wet and the boot feels very protective and warm. Once fastened the bindings sit close to the profile of the boot so they fit under trousers quite easily. The waterproof 'Drytex' liner extends up to halfway between the top and middle fasteners. Unlike many other MC boots I have tried these boots are a wide fitting and I personally find them very comfortable. The soles are quite thick and it may take some riders a little while to get accustomed to the feel of them on the footpegs and around the controls. The only minus point I have got is that I personally don't like the look of the plastic protective gear change patches which are on both boots - I think that they look a bit daft and cheap but it's a minor point - if they did a version of this boot without them or with leather patches - then I would opt for that. So far the boots are waterproof but I have not yet really tested them on an extended ride in a heavy rainstorm and I probably never will.
Formal Adventure Boots - 10/10
These boots leave nothing wanting- comfortable, waterproof and protective. I saw the reviews and had to have them and have not looked back. Only owned for a couple of months but anticipate that my opinion will not change over time. 10/10.
Forma adventure boots
I've done thousands of miles over the years including two RTW's so have had quite a few different types of boots , I've never tried Forma's before, but I'm rather impressed with the quality, fit and wearablility of these , comfy out of the box easy to get the right fit , yes they are middle of the road between outright protection and comfort but they are stiff enough for MOST off road duties and solid Enough for road work , so they will suit imo 80% of people, I would agree with other people and say take a size up from normal shoes . But I'd recommend them .
Billy big boots
Bought these as were awesome price on Sportsbikeshop. Usually I am uk size 9 so I opted for Eur size 44 and they are perfect. Seem to be great quality. Haven't worn much yet so waiting to see how they soften up and how waterproof they are. Physically the boots are quite chunky so you need to make sure you can operate gears and rear brake with them.....
Great Quality & great buy
Product looks good quality. Only tried on for size as these are a Xmas present. Comfortable, good fit & easy to walk in. Bought to replace my ageing TCX adventure boots. These have a chunkier & more open tread pattern, so should give better grip in gravel car parks etc.
Once I got the right size I am now looking to some serious miles in comfort. The boots not only feel good they are nice and comfy. Just as a guide I normally wear a size 43, however the boots are a 45 and fit nicely with thick socks on. Thank you SBS
