I wanted a reliable, robust, bullet proof, unobtrusive and minimalist SatNav that I could easily read but did not stick out like a sore thumb on the handlebars of my Street Triple. I also did not want to wire anything in so I needed a product with a very long battery life that would not drain my android phone either. The application also needed to be simple enough to make plotting routes simple and logical. The Moto 2 meets all of the above and I highly recommend it.
